Oh my, that's two lots of bad news. My granny would be saying well what's going to be the third. Well I hope we don't get a third is all I can say. I'm not trivialising the misfortunes of you both and sympathies to you both for your troubled time. I hope that that people involved in the car crashes were all ok and that the septic tank issue is resolved without too much trouble. Wishing all those involved the best.

My septic tank issue is on hold. I called the company and the price for weekend work is insane so it'll have to wait until Monday. It looks like the water level in my basement has decreased by maybe half an inch since yesterday so the drainage does function at least a little. It's a dirt basement and the water doesn't do that much damage to it, it's just that I'm left without hot water and can't use water in my kitchen until the issue is resolved. It can wait two days for regular work-hour prices. Thank the Saints for a functional toilet!

I do live very close to the hospital, so anyone injured should have been able to receive attention quickly, if necessary.
