Windowless, you say? My workplace is also devoid of windows, given how it is in a cellar. Not that this is a bad thing, for I tend to climb a few stairs for things such as coffee breaks and lunch.

At a previous job, I had an office in the cellar. This facility, my office is on the second floor, but it's in the interior of the building--no exterior walls, so no windows. I think quite a few of the offices don't have windows for that reason.

Kinda inevitable when you're working in large buildings, especially because the invention of electric light made windows optional instead of necessary.

Good morning you all, I hope the day is fine for you all.

Cinnamon, yes we can eat in the garden but we tend to use the break room for this more often as everything is at hand.  I'll often use the garden for a breather though while others have a smoke break (not in the garden, they have to go to the far corner of the car park for that).

One of my previous jobs was in a historic building used for entertainment, and all the offices were in the basement or parts of the building that didn't have windows so I know how you all feel.. I always felt that the basement offices were favourable over those in the middle or in the attic spaces.

Summer holidays are here in the UK with many schools now closed for their six week break. How many of you are taking time off over this period to enjoy time with your family? My lodger is going back to visit with their family, i'm looking after fluffy bunny for them while they are away....

Crazes definitely help keep me engaged on the site.
Found this old message of yours while busy upvoting messages in this thread for a daily task. Sure wouldn't mind having a craze again, it has been a while since the last one.

Yes, I have been thinking about that myself.

I have a bunch of artifacts. Part of me wants to use them to try to get my archeology badge. But another part says, "Save them.for a craze."

I think there are sometimes crazes around the PB election but that's still 2+ months away. IDK what other holidays coming up might have a craze.

Maybe just a Summer Fun craze or something (although it's not summer everywhere).
