Socks! I seem to give socks as gifts year round. I buy them (for me), wear them, wash them and then others (in my family) take them!!! Why is it that people feel that socks are common property? Though they don’t see them as so common because once they take them i rarely see them again :/

omg Sarah you should start putting your socks in a safe XD I'd be mad if my family took my socks, I lose them enough by myself!
We had beautiful Christmas movie tier snow today!! It's so pretty when it's fluffy and blanketing everything, reflecting fairy lights at night. And wow that sounds amazing Janeze ugh, exploring an iceberg is 100% on my bucket list, pictures of the inside look literally ethereal. I wouldn't be able to resist a taste either let's be honest

I've been having a constant string of migraines the past week and I may have just been paranoid yesterday, but I thought I felt a 'sign' (vision distortion) so I tried this thing I read, giving yourself a brain freeze on purpose. It kinda worked?? XD Also I got to see what an MRI is like last Wednesday, it was pretty cool! but I'm a nerd haha. I do see why they require you to take sedatives if you're claustrophobic though, the 'ceiling' is less than a foot away from your face

There's a lot of good responses to the gifts question here. I'd say a top tier gift is definitely something person that the recipient couldn't have bought themselves. Could be art you make, could be something commissioned. It could also be a song you write, clothing you sew, painting on canvas, or a printed photo.

For several years now, instead of giving each other material gifts, my friend and I have been making birthday outings together - to an escaper room, cinema and coffe, to make-up workshops or sushi. And you know what's the coolest thing about these gifts? Living these moments together, I remember them very well! But I completely do not remember what things I got from my family.

I also recommend it for X-mas :D

Socks! I love it, the more unusual the better. Especially those where the couple doesn't look the same. <3

I'm one of those who steals/borrows socks and never give them back (blush). I hate to walk in dirty or wet socks (small children always makes some kinda mess on floor) so I tend to borrow socks from my mom, sister, brothers even friends of I'm visiting. In my defense I can say I always gift everyone a normal gift plus atleast 5pairs of socks in Christmas as an way of apologizing for the socks I have borrowed.

I don’t have a job (sad bimbo noises) so I can never buy stuff for others, but I always want to gift cute cards with some money in them, maybe a custom card with a cute Polaroid-like picture of me and my dog with matching ugly sweaters, it would be pretty neat.

So cute!
I have a brother who is 17 years younger. we have had a Christmas tradition since his kindergarten. we bake tons of gingerbread. and you always have to decorate them somehow original- there have already been scouts, radioactive snowmen and foxes in a tracksuit

This is all so wonderful.. I love that you're all so helpful. I found something nice in an Antique centre today in my lunch break. So i'm all sorted, Panic over!

So we have elections tomorrow and we also have a "special surprise" too, I wonder what that could be... Bimboland is so special already what more could they offer us?

Lol I just wasted so much money, if that special surprise is another craze I'm losing again. I also spent all of my money a couple of minutes before the Black Friday craze was announced lmao
