i've never really had skin issues or bad acne besides the occasional breakout but i also do nothing for my skin. i used to use facewash but one time i got it in my eye and it burned so bad so now it just sits in my medicine cabinet. it's called clean and clear and it's minty?!? idk i just don't use it lol.

i also deal w acne scarring fili, it can b rly hard to deal w so lots of luv 2 u <333 the good thing is ur pretty young so i think some of it can go away after time, especially if u get good at not picking at ur face (thats why i have scars) and start doing stuff like exfoliating. one thing 2 keep in mind too is that lots of ppl have textured skin, it can feel like everyone has clear skin bc ppl edit it out in photos and stuff but i recommend paying attention 2 ppl who you find beautiful irl or who u aspire to look like if that makes sense? like i realized a lot of ppl i know irl who are GORGEOUS also have textured skin/acne and that made me feel a lot better abt my own skin <3

So, like I've only seen bits of "The Traitors" Usually if Mom missed it and I had to put it on for her via the BBC iPlayer streaming service. She really enjoyed it though I did like the bits I watched with her, however there is a lot of sitting around and chatting about other players behaviour and stuff. The whole cast of players were good and there weren't any really dislikable players. I'm not sure where else you can find it streaming. I'd still like to know where to find the US version so that I could maybe get Mom onto that.
I'm glad i'm not the only one that likes old TV shows. It's ago to know others watch them too.

i just found a vintage looking wood cd player / radio / cassette recorder / record player combo for 20 dollars at goodwill... best part is it actually works!!! so my friend and i are going to start looking around for vinyls since we're living together next year and plan to have it out in a common area :-) all the cds i own are early to mid 2000s emo music so maybe would not be a hit at house parties lol

ahh needed 2 hear this, thank u<3 ur definitely right, like i dont even think it'd be an issue for me if i wasnt influenced by social media, cause in comparison to the real world, almost everyone has at least some kinda skin issue. comparison is the killer of growth!

i have started on the ordinary's 0.2% in squalene retinol, im expecting a really long purging period by taking it super slow and just how my skin is. I havent had like peeling or anything, aside from the tiniest like spot on my nose, but i have oily skin.
i did start in summer but it was right when my benzac went out of day and i had $$ to actually buy stuff lol.
@filibabie if you try retinol from my understanding you would want one in a lotion/cream form if you can afford, they can get pricy, oh and definitely really low concentrate. Also do your own research. but everything you mentioned about acne scars retinol can do, the issue is you wont see improvements for like over 6 months, and the purging can suck sm.

For what skin type
If someone has dry skin they should use cream based retinol Murad is apparently a brand good for sensitive or dry skin
Resistant skin, use a serum, The ordinary The inkey list
What can be used with retinol
Niacinamide (Vit. B3) any time Azelaic acid, an hour before or after ret. Vitamin E,
What cannot* be used with retinol
*generally you can use on days you’re not using retinol. You just cant layer Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid), can use vitamin C in the morning and retinol at night Alpha Hydroxy Acids,
Lactic Acids Glycolic Acids Mandelic Acids Citric AcidsBenzoyl Peroxide (BPO)

Never use around eyes, leads to dry eyes which can be irreversible
ALWAYS WEAR SUNSCREEN, retinol makes you super sensitive dont use ret if nursing or pregnant
START LOW, <0.5%, will depend on brand and your skin though. Do a patch test first. Use only a couple times a week at max at start, then increase as your skin shows it is ok. Less is more, if you overuse (amount or frequency) the damage is gonna be worse and take longer to deal with than your starting point. Once you achieve your desired look, you don’t have to use ret every day, just like once a week, to keep the anti aging.
