I love fake people, I love games, I love drama, music means nothing to me. I’m not a chill guy and if you fuck with my friends I will help you do it. I would betray any of my loved ones at any time and I would not hesitate to hit them with a car.
tbh i love going on my little computer and looking at my silly website i feel like an app would take away a lot of the novelty of ximbolands existence as a browser game

they never made a dark mode.. making an app isn't even an option
Not having a dark mode can be easily solved by using browser extensions. Some browsers already have dark mode which you can find in settings. There are also apps for dark mode, on the phones it's already easy to set it.
Phone users can set desk top mode on the phone and then the site looks the same as it looks like on PC. Of course, the downside of it is you will probably need to zoom it a lot. It is not a replacement for the app but I found it better for use than phone mode.

Unfortunately, when most of my childhood favorites switched to being apps, it lost its appeal to me. Example, animal jam. I LOVVVED animal jam. But switching from 2d to 3d changed how you could place and stack den items, which severely limited my creativity. One of the things that originally kept me coming back to animal jam was the creative ass dens I could make and role play in. elaborate forests, tiki bars, hospitals, fighting rings come to mind.
When I joined here, the first thing I noticed is you can wear as many objects in the same category as each other and it won't take them off (like the sims does.) It will layer them, and you can change the order of the layering. Also, some of the things not working well with the bases (like the backgrounds going through avatars) means you can do some really creative stuff. I feel like this kind of thing wouldn't transfer very well to an app. This place sort of recaptures the magic of 2000's virtual worlds and honestly, I feel like an app would only take away from it.
