Pope Francis of, The Roman Catholic Church had something interesting to say on this subject. He suggested baptism in the name of Christ, for the remission of sin, for Alien individuals. This is just the bullet point of his sermon. As a whole, even the Pope of a major religion accepts the possibility of life in the universe. He really isn't even the first Pope to do so. Just the first to declare it publicly. I am not Catholic myself, but as a Christian faith, I listen to even the Pope.
Humanity should be humble. It should be a sin to be so narcissistic, to think Humans from planet Earth is the only extant life form. When I read the translation of his speech, and it might not be fully known.... The Vatican even has sponsored telescopes, and the propagation of science.
What I would love is; to have access to is the treasure of the Catholic churches ARCHIVES.
I never learned to read Latin, but I know people who can. Just because we cannot do something, doesn't mean it is not POSSIBLE.
Another poster mentioned the show Ancient Aliens. I have watched it in it's entirety. A brilliantly done show, even if it is awfully speculative.
I myself have seen things I cannot rationally explain. I've also seen and touched images carved in stone by ancient people. One cave in particular in the American Southwest, resonated with an unusual sound property. It was called 'Cougar Cliffs' The area has since been closed by the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. WHY? A good question, that was asked. It was a common place for locals to have picnics... The government closed it officially because of a desert turtle nobody had seen in 30 years. A turtle that obviously survived despite Earth-PEOPLE. Nobody was hunting and eating them, and indeed nobody I ever met even saw one, How could it be possible to never see evidence of even a dead turtle in the thousands of hours of wandering and walk-about's I did. Except some environmentalists with agendas UNKNOWN, convinced a government of it's existence.(without even a photograph of it, BTW) That poor little desert turtle is as elusive as BIG FOOT. An invisible creature somehow managed to convince a government to declare thousands of square miles of PUBLIC land to be CLOSED to the PUBLIC. The silly thing is, it was within 10 miles of the habitation of modern humans. Modern people have been living and playing in that area for at least over a century and it wasn't until the government hearings, before I even knew the turtle even existed, in the past in that area. It seemed that it was closed for environmental reasons, ONLY.
How convenient if you want to hide something important. Cougar Cliffs was fascinating, and I'm glad I got a chance to be there, on hundreds of occasions. Terrifying at night BTW. If you were not careful you could fall 1000 feet to your death. My husband and I actually had our wedding invitations photo taken at the entrance to the caves. You wouldn't even see the entrance because it is so well camouflaged. It was a very special place for us. (above ground that is....
It was also such a romantic story of how that photo was taken. It should have been impossible, yet I insisted and got it done. A story for another time. )
It was frightening to actually go in them after dark, as if that should matter. Caves are PURE darkness 24 hours a day. I have a theory however of it's purpose however based upon my direct observation. It was a natural loud-speaker/ microphone for people gathered on the desert floor 1000 feet below, and countless miles (KM) away.
(YES, my friends and I did experiments and you could even hear a whisper in the cave, on the valley floor. Hence the name Cougar Cliffs and why my husband and I would only have sex above ground. I guess it is good very few people knew where to find the cave. Who would want to listen to sexual excitement broadcasted throughout a State Park? Snows Canyon, Utah, USA) I believe that it was used for religious purposes by ancient people. It was like a natural pulpit, and the land below was the cathedral. It was a natural Amphitheater. The beauty and lay-out of the land of the place was as such. Anyone with an interest in geology would love to explore this area. (just saying, I went to collage there, and my geology book was more of a tourist map with hands on training. Only the caves, are forbidden to enter NOW.)

That whole area, is rife with unexplained activity.
Have you ever seen blue colored orbs about the size of grapefruit, hovering about the native scrub brush?
When you spend a lot of time outdoors as a youth you see some unusual things. Later, I heard others talk about the phenomenon as being 'Ball- lightning' and it sounded close to what I would see. In this case it was a combination of environmental factors. Low humidity and extreme static electricity, from weather currents, producing a spark. Like you get walking on carpet, in bare feet and touching a metal/grounded object.
The effect I saw was much longer in duration...... As if the static discharge took minutes instead of milliseconds. The orbs would linger.... This also only seemed to have a rational scientific explanation, because it would only happen under certain conditions.

Some people might have described those orbs as being ghosts. Others might have even called them UFO's. I saw them far to often to just be something as fantastical as aliens from a different world. All I would have to do is go into my own backyard when the weather was just right, and watch the show. Little blue orbs that danced just above the native flora. Moving and changing direction very suddenly, only to suddenly disappear. I'm very suprised that there has been a lot written about the subject, but little evidence except by word of mouth of witnesses. My father has been living in that house for the past 20 years, and never saw them. However, he goes to bed with the sunset, and would never see them anyhow. I knew when the time was right to see a natural light show. Not enough to understand why it was happening, but enough to be frightened enough to not dare to cross the fence when it was occurring. It was possible the events happened during daylight hours too, but you wouldn't be able to see it at all. The orbs only glowed faintly in a deep blue color, at night. I was not a child, and I know what I saw. There was times I would only stand in the doorway to watch because even I was frightened, and didn't want to be outside in the open when the Orbs were flying about. Lightning is scary enough. Silent lightning is unnerving and I certainly didn't want to join that dance in the desert.
The unknown is naturally spooky. Thus scientists are bourn _______E=MC2 A basic function of relativity, few can even grasp. None can HOLD.
