✧༺ Hello dear Atheista citizens ༻✧

The upcoming State Minister election is getting closer and will take place on August 1st.        

If you are interested in running in this elections there are a couple of things to consider:

1) In order to run, you have to be a paying senator (no artifacts)

2) You have to write a program and click the check box to confirm you are participating

3) Your programs will be visible for the public eyes from the 15th this month

4) Of course, you can add or edit your program later as well, but keep in mind that you won't be able to make any changes during the last 6 hours prior to elections. It also means you can't apply during that time if you haven't already nor to cancel your participation if you have already applied.

5) If you get elected as SM you will have to be a paying senator during the whole term - 4 months

6) If your senatorship gets canceled for one or another reason, you are losing SM status within 7 days and your state is going to be without SM until the next elections. During these 7 days you can renew your senatorship and continue to be SM.

7) If you are SM you are eligible to participate in PB elections

8) As SM you are also expected to be active and available both for your citizens and other PH members, as well as to do duties that come with the title. Even it might sound a bit too serious, being SM is actually quite fun and enjoyable :)


Tools that goes with SM role:
- As SM you are able to jail citizens in your state for 1 or 3 days
- You receive messages from Bimbo Mailman when citizens from your state get reported (note: you receive profile reports, not forum posts reports, and you don't know who is the reporting player)
- You are able to make pop-up posts in your town hall
- And, probably the most interesting of all, you are able to gift any citizen :) SMs can share gifts for posts/entries in Fashion & Forum contests and their own Town Halls, including 20 last threads in total. Keep in mind that prizes currency are diamonds only. It means, even if you decide to gift ticket or a chest, you need to pay for it in diamonds.
(If you need more info on these topics you can talk to your SM or me. Here are listed basic and most important points.)

Each candidate is welcome to post their program here in this thread when they are ready. The rest of the citizens are welcome to ask questions. Be respectful toward each other. Favorizing or hindering any candidate is not welcome! Showing appreciation or concern is possible without interrupting the natural flaw of candidates' campaigns.

hey everyone!! i'm ambercrystals (or amber, if you like!) and i'm running for state minister ＼(≧▽≦)／
you may have seen me around on the forum or in the state wars server, and if you haven't talked to me before, nice to meet you :-)
with misogynist stepping down from running, i got his blessing to run for the position. thought i'd post my program here as well as on my profile!
i'm not aiming to provide a drastic change to anything that the previous state minister, misogynist, had created - although i do want to consider the views and ideas of everyone that approaches me about site issues. what i want, should i get elected, is to keep things running as well as they have been (if not better), give state members more opportunities for contests (including, hopefully, chances to connect with other states), and give both new and existing users as much help as i can with their problems.


what i want to accomplish and what i can offer atheista state members! (´ ∀ ` *)

♡ more activity in the atheista town hall! i think the monthly contests have been a great way to do that and i'd like to continue those. banners and prizes in the form of gems will be available (i will pay out of pocket for the latter if necessary, and i can create banners myself) ! i'm also interested in creating a thread for looks similar to the secville lookbook and antitheocra's current bimbo thread!

✧ if possible, i'd like to try and keep fostering more cooperation with other states! we've all seen in the recent state wars that every state has something to offer. why not join together? i'd love to collaborate with other state ministers or members on more forum contests separately from atheista-exclusive events.

♡ since i'm on daily, usually for long stretches of time or for multiple times a day, i'm very easily reachable! i have email notifications on for private messages on here, so i see things pretty quickly even when i'm not actively online. i'm always happy to help out people sort out their issues, whether that be in forum or on the ximboland messaging system! i'll assist in problem-solving to the best of my ability. i want to help you get a solution to whatever you're having trouble with!

✧ on a similar note, i aim to pass on any suggestions i receive that i think are viable to pink house! i think it's important to have as much open communication as possible between state ministers and regular users for a better experience for everyone ^^

♡ i have some experience moderating discord communities, and while i know it's not the same as a dress-up site, i think i have a reasonable basis to start from in regards to processing reports etc.


why i am running (b ᵔ▽ᵔ)b

♡ i truly love making outfits on this site, and i love my state! interacting with everyone in forum is something that i enjoy. i've been active nearly every day for a little over 9 months now (will be a year in october! hooray!), whether that be doing my dailies, putting my bimbo to work, or sifting through forums or shop. i know that i haven't been registered on the site for as long as some other users, but i think i have enough enthusiasm to make up for it.

✧ ximboland has become a huge part of my life as i've been here, and i've made multiple good friends through this site. i truly love my state (fish gang), and i want to see it thrive. if i can help that happen, then i want to take the opportunity to try!

Hi, Cake / C.C. here, announcing my bid to run for SM! After all the teamwork and amazing cooperation I saw from our state during the Ximbolympics, I decided to give running for office a shot. Here's my program;

General SM goals:
1. Collaborating with the other SMs, fashion police, etc.
As we have seen from Miso's run as SM, collaboration between the states, fashion police, and Prime Ximbo is very important to implementing changes that benefit all. I would like to continue this legacy of collaborative work, and push for further transparency between the site leadership and the userbase.

2. Taking input from Atheista citizens.
As SM, I want to hear feedback from citizens of my state. I will personally maintain a feedback thread in the Atheista Town Hall to ensure that everyone's ideas and opinions can be relayed to the other SMs, fashion police, and PX. After all, what's the point of a democratically elected official if they do not represent the best interests of the people?

3. Focusing on user engagement.
Keeping citizens engaged is of utmost importance to me. I hope to host raffles and contests both within the state and - with the cooperation of other SMs - across all of Ximbo Land. I want to keep the Town Hall active and continue the one new thread a week pattern, ensuring that there is at least one new discussion topic every week for citizens to give their thoughts on, and create a Birthday Board, to ensure that all Atheista citizens are able to celebrate their special day with their fellow citizens.

Group goals (SM / Pink H. / Admin collaboration required):
1. Updating gameplay features.
Revitalizing the arcade is something that, with the cooperation of the other SMs, I would hope to achieve. I'd like to update the rules of the tile match games to have them reflect the gameplay mechanics of more typical concentration/memory games, i.e. flipping two cards = 1 turn and a match = extra free turn, and I would also like to prioritize feedback on gameplay features overall.

2. Transparency between admin and userbase.
Keeping communications open between admin and the userbase of Ximbo Land is of utmost importance to me. Especially for senators and other paying customers of the site, users deserve to be heard and receive clear communication and updates from the site admins. I will prioritize ensuring the utmost transparency surrounding admin decisions, rule/policy changes, and any other decisions that may impact Ximbo life, to ensure that all citizens are informed and able to contribute to the conversations surrounding the state of and future of Ximbo Land.

Overall, I am very focused on improving Ximbo life, and ensuring democratic cooperation between States. These factors combined will (hopefully) lead to population increases, but regardless, I want to see to it that every preexisting Ximbo is happy and entertained here.

I want to become a minister or Prime Ximbo. How do I do that?
Any Ximbo citizen can become Prime Ximbo using the democratic process. Its a 2 stage process from Senator>Prime Ximbo. All Ximbo xitizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo/a minister they must first become a Ximbo senator.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 6 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland holds elections every 3 months for Prime Ximbo and every 3 months for State Ministers.

Where do important discussions take place?

What is the treasury/ministers/Prime Ximbos salary?
The treasury/salary is the bank account of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 3 month term in charge.

How is the treasury calculated?
The treasury is funded by the Ximbo xenators.
A percentage (33%) of the money paid by Ximbo xenators via Paypal is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is used for further Ximboland development.
