some sort of announcement to let players know when work is going to be done on the site and for roughly how long. it doesn't have to be anything fancy, even just a pinned thread in the forum that TB posts updates on would suffice. or a letter to every players inbox.
something this simple would solve the problem of lost artifacts and other stuff like that.

I am pretty sure they paused them this time.i'm not actually sure as i wasn't using any when the site went down, but there are still other issues (such as competition deadlines etc.) that currently are/have been affected in the past. it would also just be nice to get a heads up so that u don't log in and think 'oh the site is down again' without knowing how long it'll be before u can log in. it's nice that they had the decency to pause the artifacts this time round i guess xD
