I'm here from the video. I love all the games Izzzyzzz's reviews, they give me such nostalgia. I love dress up games with a community aspect (even if it can be a bit dodgy at times). This looked like everything I liked as a kid plus a mature aspect. But to be honest as a kid if there were slight mature aspects to a dress up game I was drawn to it (brain damage from Girls Go Games). Haven't been here long but I like what I've seen so far. Love the fashion options.

+1 to joining from Izzy. I'll admit, I was like "no way am I going to join this one, I have enough going on lmao" but then I went here, looked at this thread, closed it and returned 20 minutes later to make an account.
I'll admit I am drawn to forum/discussion websites with the main goal being avatar customization - I used to be on one A LOT back in 2016 ish, (If any of you know Sapherna, hi there, im pretty sure I got it closed down- oops. But that's another can of worms entirely) but the community feeling from back then is something I dearly miss, and the alternatives never were as active to come close to that.
Nonetheless I'll definitely be checking this place out, I have an awful interest in dress-up type of games in general. (Love Nikki has a chokehold on my life, I swear)
Place looks nice so far, though I did wish there was a dark version...browsing this site as 3 AM is lighting up my entire room xD.

Just joined after watching her video and I'm loving it! I do think she took the game too seriously. I used to play a game like MB when I was younger and I can't say it had a negative effect for me. Ximboland, on the other hand, makes it super clear it's a game intended for maturer audiences. Nothing wrong with that! Saying "the aesthetic appeal attracts children" is quite reductive. The internet attracts children and that's why they shouldn't have unsupervised access to it.
I came here from a friend, who I later found out saw her video. I watched it and I agree that she took it a bit too seriously, but I still enjoyed the video a lot. Forums are super nostalgic for me, so I'm very happy to be here.

here from Izzy too, I think the video was pretty exaggerated but you come to expect that from youtube videos, especially video-essays and stuff. i think the premise is funny and although its definitely a little strange at times, its super fun here and the community is so wholesome
My partner and I watched Izzy's video together and instantly got really curious. We even dragged a friend of ours into joining. The three of us have been going back a lot of older online sites lately for the nostalgia. This one hooked me so freaking fast. I don't know what I expected exactly, but I'm already super invested!
