I wish she would have written that in the first place. That really was gross, and I actually agree with her about the blood thing. I mostly just see old smeared blood and it is usually a dark brown when I see it, so it doesn't bother me very badly. Fresh bright red blood on the other hand is very difficult for me to have to look at. I don't seem to mind my own blood to much, it's just seeing other people bleed, makes me want to cry. Not vomit. I get very innerly emotional when I see hurt people.
I saw a carnival movie once too, It was just a horror movie set around some traveling performer's/ serial killer's. Yes I used to like clown's, Not so much any more. What an awful last thing to see before you die.
Her comment about the movie being banned is very unusual to me. I've seen movie's on Netflix's that leave nothing to the imagination with blood gore and rape. OMG Spartacus: War of the Damned and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Has got to be one of the most graphically violent movies I've ever seen.
How they got away with total nudity and visible homosexual sex also just amazed me, and that was on Cable TV as a series for 2 year's. Don't get me wrong here, I'm no prude. The Movie is a 5 out of 5 star's sort of movie, but after seeing it I can't imagine what a movie has to do to be banned.
This movie is Defiantly not for KrisEun to watch. They got so carried away with the blood, they had it shooting out of severed head's and arm's and splattering all over the camera lens ect.... The battle's were absolutely EPIC to watch, but the people were bleeding impossible amount's of blood, and still fighting for hour's.
It got a bit ridiculous after a while. I preferred the sexual play in the movie. Total soft core porn, in beautiful Roman Palaces with georgious people in gold silk gown's, ripping muscle's of gladiator's. Lucy Lawless ! OMG Zena Warrior Princess has never looked so good. ect. I really don't understand how it didn't earn an X rating in America. Yeah, that movie was shocking and very gross and I'd watch it again because it was filmed absolutely brilliantly,
It was surprisingly very historically accurate in the way the Roman culture was displayed. It was sort of refreshing to actually see the Roman's
un-censored by our culturally sensitive PC norm's and selective history. They sure knew how to throw a fun party. I would have loved to be a slave dancer. Having sex with Gladiator's as the public entertainment didn't look too bad for a life of luxury and pampering to the extreme.
