Well, you see, we're a very normal pub, mostly. People came in and go out, as much as they do in any other club. Well, I kinda envy them, you know? I mean, I miss that time of my life when my life's concerns float around things like a boring job that doesn't pay as much as I want or how much I hate my stupid neighbors. But now, I know the truth. Monsters lurk in the dark, preying on us, haunting us, waiting for the moment when we're vulnerable and alone to attack! And only a few enlightened people are aware of their existence, most of them are survivors just like me. Some years ago, I paid a price for my ambition and desire for power, and now I'm doing the best with what I got. Oh? You don't believe in me? Well, I'm sure you will, very very soon...
You see, this pub is actually a Shelter for my fellow survivors and some of my long-run clients are the ones who decided to strike back and do something in order to protect not only ourselves but also all those ungrateful ignorant people who are clueless. Those people came here in order to share their personal stories about the occult, seek "jobs" which means something odd to investigate, and help each other in their hunts, with knowledge, guesses, and suggestions. So, it's only a matter of time until you get used to it and you will eventually end up learning enough to see the world the way it really is. Just promise me, before taking any job, that you will be more careful than my last bartender, okay? Good! I don't want to attend your funeral too, silly. Now, excuse me, but I need to check my customers!

(Hi, folks! I'm super excited about this new section on the forum, so I would like to suggest a game called "The Profundis" which is basically a supernatural RPG where we take the role of hunters, paranormal investigators, and people who suffered some distressful encounter with the occult. You can play only telling your own stories, or posting updates regards your last hunt and ask for support or inputs. By doing that, you allow other players to add pieces of information to the story that you're telling, making it more dynamic and interactive. You don't need to be constantly posting on this thread since it could be allowed to casual roleplay as well, but keep in mind that other players can resume your open cases if you don't come back. However, I would like if all of us remain in our roles all the time and avoid joking in a way that doesn't match the vibe since it's a roleplay related to horror and suspense and not a comedy, okay? Please, follow the forum rules, avoid problematic statements/conspiracy theories, and have fun!)
