I can't vote for obvious reason's being an American, but I lived in the UK for a time, and got to know the local politic's very well speaking to MP's in the town's Pub's, and Westminster.
Johnson’s Conservative Party, would have been how I would have voted too, after listening to the rank-and file people over drink's as an outsider. I am pleased to see people waking up from the disaster socialism,[Labor party] has caused a once great nation.
Brit-Exit should have happened long-ago. The delay, has been abominable to the taxpayer's and national sovereignty.
So they needed another election to put it into action. Good on them ! Finally, the will of the people might be done.

The elections in the UK are hijacked by Brexit. None of the politicians are talking about the failing economics or the fact they would have to re-negotiate ALL trade agreements. No one talks about the fact that Britains have the highest personal debts in Europe. No one talks about the problems of housing people.
Just Brexit. Like all that matters is leaving the EU. No one talked about the people. Everyone was occupied with Brexit. And no one talked about the realistic consequences about a Brexit. I am concerned about my neighbour across the North Sea and hope they will be all right with a clown as Prime Minister.

With the UK being the 5th largest economy in the world, they will do so much better for themselves if they are not propping up so many failed nation's in the EU, so unnecessarily. As far as renegotiating trade agreement's go, this is another good thing. If they need something from another nation they will pay a higher price for it. This is a 'win' for the EU. What the EU wont get is charity monies. They will have to become producer's again of trade item's and compete with the workers in the UK. It is a more natural balance form of trade. The way it traditionally was practiced pre 1980's. The quality of good's and services will need to be higher to attract buyer's to foreign made good's, verses domestically produced good's. This is a net win for the resident's of both the EU and UK. The EU will be producing commodities better, and the demand for those good's will get higher prices for domestic consumption in the EU as well.
People always fear change, yet I am old enough to remember when people feared the UK becoming part of the EU, too. I also saw the entire failure of the 'Grand Experiment' as the slogan was at the time, in real time from the very first day.
There once was a time, all nation's were independent in Europe. It seem to me that becoming dependent on another nation's wealth, is a step backwards and creates an unbalance that should be avoided. The EU can exist if [they] the member nation's want that sort of trade agreement, and make it work by themselves.
Just because one nation want's to pull out doesn't mean the EU will cease to exist.
It just mean's they will not be getting anymore 'charity' to fund corruption in several EU nations, from the UK.
The fear of the un-known is paralyzing, to the whole. The EU will recover if they act as one united people. Maybe they can make it work, the possibility is there. Will they ?
The fear the media and politician's don't say to the people, "Is that they wont or cant."
Perhaps the failed nation's like Greece who is totally bankrupted and has been for over a decade might actually elect some competent government leader's too. France in total 'free-fall' too with welfare role's and riot's over labor party politics, housing cost's, and pension's, before even a mention of a Brit-exit was ever even proposed.

True history is not taught anymore in colleges.
I was blessed to read real history book's and lived a life watching people and politic's in action.
Not theory by activist's and Mass-Media with agendas, and bias.
Talking to the real people involved was 'priceless'.
The blessing of being old, is underestimated by the young and emotional.
I'm still wondering what the 'opening poster has to say'.
