In a truly unpopular opinion, I don't think asexuality itself is lgbt+; your romantic interest and/or gender identity (or lack thereof) does. Cis heteroromantic aces are not lgbt, y'now?

You may not like her writing style, so that may be why you think that (I'm not into poetry myself so I rarely like any writer who's specialized on it)

Also I'm not sure where you live, but she's a pretty big deal in the United States, at least from an academic perspective. You'd be extremely hard-pressed to find a single high school or college level English poetry anthology that didn't contain at least one of her poems. I've heard her heralded as one of the greatest poets of the modern era more than once.I'm actually from Brazil so my high school poetry anthology course was mostly focused on Portuguese and Brazilian writers than anything else. I had to read O Auto da Barca do Inferno, which was an allegory written in a poetry-theatre form, and it was HELL (just like the story I guess lol). Not a very fun experience.
