Did you guys hear about this? Someone from the company said that they consciously don't use plus size and trans models for their shows and it became a whole thing. What do you think about that? Do they have the right to do so and is it ok? Do they send the message that just girls with the same body type like their models are beautiful?

I personally think that it is ok to use just fit and long-legged girls. It is just an advertisment after all. I don't know why people pretend that certain standards of beauty don't exist in the real world and that girls with this body type are not better for showing off the clothes.
Also, I don't know why everyone needs representation everywhere. I think that specialization of the product and advertising to a gruop of people is not a bad thing. Tell me am I still living in the stone age lol, it is 2018 after all

I don't agree with models being anorexic at all, they should be healthy but still slim in my opinion. The point is to model the clothes, but VS show is more of a novelty and viewership has actually decreased over the years.

Most advertisements make people feel self conscious, and it's not just skinny models, think about the Kardashians as well ... and how many young girls/women want breast/butt enhancements. But it's good to keep in mind that models get paid to literally train all year for shows, and everything is/has photoshop/enhancement/proper lighting/makeup etc.

VS show has plenty of variety of models of different backgrounds/races. I agree that not everything needs to be super inclusive, no offence but I watch it to have a bit of unrealistic body envy ... but that's about the end of it. There are many companies that cater to normal sized, and plus sized demographics. But people tend to want to watch the things that are unrealistic. My point being VS has the right to choose who they want to represent/be the front of their company, their lingerie is still available to all races, body types, and genders.

There's a big difference between having a right to do something, and it being okay. In the states, Victoria's Secret can do as it pleases, far as I know, even if it rankles other people. As far as job-seeking models, they aren't allowed to fire them or not hire them based on race, gender, sex, religion, and sexual orientation. That being said, it's incredibly easy for a business to claim that they aren't hiring someone for other reasons, while still knowingly turning someone away because of the above.
As for the specific story in question, I haven't actually heard much about it and will have to read a little bit more into it. But it wouldn't really surprise me, to be honest. The modelling industry is a ruthless, cutthroat and still pretty discriminatory place.

Any Ximbo citizen can become Prime Ximbo using the democratic process. Its a 2 stage process from Senator>Prime Ximbo. All Ximbo xitizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo/a minister they must first become a Ximbo senator.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 6 terms max.

The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland holds elections every 3 months for Prime Ximbo and every 3 months for State Ministers.
