I remember going to Disney World a couple times when I was younger. I enjoyed eating at a seafood restaurant in EPCOT.

What do you think of Disneyland and Disney World?

Are they they worth it or a waste of money?

i once went to disneyland Paris . its really crowded there. you easily wait for 2 hours in line for rides. same for just a picture with a disney character. its ridiculous how long you are waiting there.
so if you are hyped with disney then go. otherwise just dont. there are better theme parks then disneyland paris

I was in Paris. I don't remember so long waiting- only in one place we have to wait long, long, long time. In the haunted house of Adams. But I was a child so my parent's could say something else... I was happy, only because I was in Disneyland Paris. Everything else was irrelevant. I have positive memories. :D

i was around 15 back then. small children things more positive . i am glad you did like it :)

Disneyland enterprises/ parks are a total waste of money. My children were miserable waiting in line's/que's even with the over-priced " so called' Fast passes'. Haha Food and drinks were OUTRAGEOUSLY over priced as a parent you end up spending double the cost to get into the park in the first place. Then all the gift's they want !!!!
All ending up to be trash discarded along the way. (recycled, I hope, to the next guest's child, or 'Found like treasure'. )
I gave up with holding shopping bags in the brutal heat and humidity. Drop a toy , and it was ignored by me.
I stopped caring about, Junk made in China.
The other guest's were so angry at their suffering too, they were rude too, to everyone around them including small children.
I don't take kindly to adult's who step on and trample children, in a rush to be FIRST to take a picture/selfie with pretty girl dressed as a princess. [gurr].
No amount of money could be spent at Disneyland that could alleviate the cost of being around 'Stressed-out parent's and Autistic* children. It was the biggest waste of money, I ever spent at an amusement park. How do you put on a smile to watch your children be miserable when they discover 'Micky Mouse' is a 'Teenager' wearing a costume and other children beat up their parent's with fist's and scream profanity.
* [BTW my children were normal and healthy and well behaved. So what do you think happens when my children saw very 'mentally disturbed' children acting out in such way's as they DO ?}
It was a learning moment, that I never wanted to have with them..... No child or parent, should ever pay to see such a disaster of humanity, for fun. However, it is advertised as cartoons on media, and children love it, only to be totally disappointing in real life, for my son's and myself.

This was just an opening 2 Paragraphs of how Awful, going to a 'Branded-name' corporation's, attempt at Fun was Like.
Taking my children to a county fair, for 20 USD and playing with the animal's was always so much better.

PS This review is only based on the American based Theme Parks in CA and FL. [ Epcot Center, and World].
Anyone really want a full review of REAL stories by me?
Trust me, You don't..... Pay for Hell, yourself.

i have two children with Autism and NEITHER are very mentally disturbed.... and both I assure you are quite Normal.
I do not doubt your experience was troubling but as a parent of children with disabilities I certainly don’t think it’s ok to use ‘Autistic’ in the terms of a derogatory description.

Autism is a 'catch-all' phrase in America. All children with behavioral problem's are included.
It was just a form of English.
Medically, I don't believe the problem even exists. I also speak with a degree, in Early Childhood Development and Management.
But American's always classify everything in 'Boxes'. Poor parenting, can make for autistic children.
It's all in the translation of behavior and parenting. Calling something like a mental issue, 'one word', bring's comfort to a parent when a therapist is involved. What else could they call it?
Autism, is as good as any word. It is even more 'inclusive' and forgiving.

Besides, why do you want to change the topic? {to your discomfort about a 'word' I used to describe the children I experienced at Disneyland.{ do you even realize just how disturbing it is when you paid so much money for your children to have fun, and all you get is swearing and cursing and fussing all around you? } What about the money I paid for my child's EXPERIENCE. Does that not count for anything?
I didn't pay for a child to swear and curse and beat it's own mother, in front of my child at Disneyland. Yet this is what you see
Bad Parent's, are the Show at Disneyland USA.

'Theme-park'? I tried 3 time's and gave up.
My children and I had a miserable time being around the PEOPLE at the Theme Parks. Florida and California have the most 'Foul adult people' you could ever even imagine. Why pay for it?
Just Don't; and your better off, and will have more fun elsewhere.
Believe me, I can get more Graphic and more 'motherly'.

I'm just going to get this right out of the way first: I have no experience with these huge theme parks, my parents never took me. Probably for the best. Fairs are better.

Second: Fuck off, HLB you bitter old fossil. Learn how to use the fucking internet and do some damn research before you go spewing your bile. There is a marked difference in the brains of many autistic children and adults, but because it is on a spectrum, as many illnesses of the brain often are, not ALL brains are going to exhibit physical changes and abnormalities.

FURTHERMORE

Parents who label their children as autistic, or doctors who just want to give whiny self-absorbed parents an answer for their childrens shitty behavior that doesn't involve pointing the finger at the true culprit(learning by example from shitty parents) are the problem. Children with REAL mental disorders are NOT. Self-entitled behavior in this world, superficiality and instant gratification are among the many things that are to blame, but attempting to saddle overworked, stressed, and often hopeless feeling parents who find themselves hardly understood by the majority of society, who's lives and children are constantly being commandeered for political and social causes that they have NO say in, is the problem. All they give a damn about are making sure that their children get what they need, health-wise, educationally, and that their disorders are more widely understood by the general public that doesn't have the mixed blessing/curse of having to deal with these things.
