after the recent video that was posted about bl by izzzyzzz (which is why, a lot of us are now here), it has caused a bit of a controversy as the video was negative and very criticising of the site. i wanted to know what everyone's opinion was about why bimboland is IMPORTANT and how even with the controversy, how it's affected all of you since joining. for me, i've noticed huge positivity that i have never felt in a community before on social media. everyone is so welcoming! and we all share one thing in common: fashion. no matter what style. we all give so much love to one another and i think that is so necessary with society and social media being constantly negative. it's also 18+, meant for mature people, so we all get to discuss serious topics and express opinions which is also SO important. overall, the community so far has been amazing and being able to put together pieces of outfits and being able to connect with people on here is so great. fuck instagram or twitter, bimboland is where it's at. i'd like to hear why you all think bl is important and how it's impacted you with the time you've been here. love u all <3

I think its fun and interactive. To me, bimboland is about creating art, merging fashion and your own vision to share with people a part of your imagination

i just looove bimboland, literally cannot get enough of it... the humor based off 00s-10s celebrity & beauty culture i.e. player stats of superficiality / fitness / vanity / sex appeal, the different state stats & unrealistically gigantic state boob & penis sizes , the original 'relaxing' being 'masturbating' and the original 'emmigrated' being suicide or something, i think it's all hilarious tongue-in-cheek and nostalgic for a time where those things actually mattered in the minds of teens and young adults everywhere lol!!! i think it's aged well if you're someone who lived through that era partially or wholly
also, it's an incredible virtual paper doll & forum game! the shops being updated since what, 2006? leading to 5-digit (if not 6) numbers of different clothing to choose from and stack without any limits is fantastic! and now that the owner is pretty hands-off it leaves room for the community to operate self-sufficiently and contribute art & organizational skills to keep the site relevant to its players, which i adore.... :) the daily tasks of having to leave reactions or comments is also so sweet, as it makes giving and getting compliments mandatory & it's just so positive and cute!!!
