Here is my entry for Cloud Tower School for Witches <3
***Maki is an animal fairy from Earth, applying to the Alfea College. Unlike her brightly colored ancestors (like Roxy the Animal fairy) she has black color in her fairy transformation. After helping a black cat cross to the other side, for her, the sadness was too much to bare. Her hair turned gray and the cat's tear made her skirt black, but also darkened a stray of her hair. It was her first animal's spirit that she never got over. Now, she helps animals cross gladly and with much less trouble. She wishes to learn more about the magical creatures in other dimensions (like a fluffy colorful puff of the origin unknown that sits on her shoulder) and hopes to learn new magic at Alfea. She is constantly followed by some animal spirits and butterflies. Don't be surprised if she smells like cows or horses. Sometimes, even magic isn't enough to cover their "perfume".***

I'm Kandi the elven fire witch. My spells are a bit disorderly and I'm in need of proper training! My fairy grandmother always wanted me to attend Alfea College for Fairies, but since I'm only 1/4 fairy and love spells more than anything I hope to attend The Cloud Tower School for Witches!

Asenath, better known as Dark Orchid, is applying for Red Fountain School for Specialists. Her magic specialty is Twilight binding and Shadow lurker is her warrior specialty. During the night time she is able to travel between the astral realms where she ambush the intruders, the malevolent entities from other dimensions, who threaten to corrupt Winx realm. Her magic weapon is a purple dagger crafted by ancient warrior mage of unknown meteorite, star dust from another universe and rare underground crystal. When the enemy is near the dagger starts to slightly glow and she turns into a dark purple fog. Just one touch with the dagger can dissolve an intruder's powers and send it to Mirror prison where some of them can stay captured for eternity. Those of higher rank are able to escape but with the cost of losing senses for realms realities, space navigation and inter-dimensional time.
The Mirror prison is a specially crafted, filled with black mirrors made of polished obsidian. Dark Orchid uses her Twilight binding powers through these mirrors to keep prisoners in dream-like state, which is not a dream but just an illusion of a dream. Many prisoners can't really wake up because the dream state isn't real. Instead, they wake up to yet another dream within the dream. The rare ones manage to exit this state using their extra awareness and energy, and eventually can escape the Mirror prison. But their awareness and energy are forever lost, captured in the mirrors.

An odd letter lies among the sea of applications to Alfea College, submitting one "Lani of Graynor" as a potential pupil. When was the last time the realm of Graynor had sent a youngling to Alfea? For centuries, only ancestral spirits and a variety of magical creatures inhabited its ruins and sprawling wilderness; though it was no stranger to visitors, no new residents or representatives would really emerge... until now. The letter details a young fairy with the blossoming ability to manipulate rainbows, and a follow-up interview on campus demonstrates that this is no hoax. Lani's magic is certainly potent, but her inexperience is reflected in its unruliness. In fact, the staff suspects Lani to be a primal fairy, deriving her powers from the elusive Creature of the Rainbow Mantle, since her use of defensive irikinesis is particularly strong. According to the letter, Lani seeks to further expand her knowledge and refine her skills at Alfea with the goal of becoming her realm's next guardian fairy. Graynor is so deeply tied to ancient magic that maintaining its sanctity is essential to the balance of magic itself, yet its relative isolation may need the aid of some more modern pratices -- which can be learned at the ever-changing Alfea College for Fairies!
