Bimbos have some amazing wardrobes to put together some fabulous outfits- looks that you might not wear yourself in real life! What is your fashion style in real life, and how is it similar or different to how your bimbo dresses? Are you a real life fashionista or usually rock a t-shirt and jeans?

For me, I wear Lolita fashion in real life, so it makes me happy that Bimboland has clothing similar to what I actually wear!

I think that's really neat that you wear Lolita, I think that's a very pretty and interesting style. :)

My fashion changes every day because I dress how I feel. Some days I wear jeans and a shirt, maybe I've got some serious work to do to where I can't be bothered, but I've also been known to go grocery shopping in a pair of gorgeous heels and cute skirt. Just depends on the day. I'm also currently hand sewing garments form different historical periods. I'm all over the place, but I love it!! :) And my outfits here in Bimboland are either things I do wear or things I wish I could wear, if I had them lol

Thanks for the interesting topic! :D

Wow, that's awesome that you sew! I get asked a lot if I make the clothes I wear, but I'm not skilled enough to do that so I just buy them. I tried sewing a pair of bloomers once, but one leg was longer than the other and the waist was too low- they barely made it to my hips, haha! For your historical garments, are you making those for work, a hobby like renaissance fair/reenactments or just because? And I agree- sometimes getting dolled up to go do mundane tasks like grocery shopping can really lift your mood!

I wish it was for a hobby like renaissance fairs or historical re-enacting but I like in a small, cute little town that's too far away from those things for me to travel so I'm just doing it for myself. We do have a few local events that I've got some ideas for though, one day, anyway. I love dresses and there's just something really satisfying in taking a few yards of fabric and creating a dress. I dunno, I just love it lol I consider myself really lucky because I grew up in a family full of crafters and as a kid, when I would ask my mom what she was doing or how she made something, she wouldn't just tell me or show me, she would actually give me some of the type of stuff she was working with, be it yarn, fabric, whatever, and teach me how to do it too! And then as I got older, I found the crafts that I loved and enjoyed more and sewing just happened to be one of them lol I'm definitely still learning and research is a huge part of it all but it is super fun. :)

Ahh, that's so cool that your family was able to pass those skills along to you! I definitely understand what you mean about that satisfaction (to a degree)- the fabrics and designs on some of the items I buy can be really gorgeous, I sometimes like to take time to just sit down with a piece and inspect all the little details. It makes me really appreciate the work that goes into making clothes! When you've created full garments, what do you do with them? Keep them as passion projects, wear them for events/photo shoots or sell them? I imagine in a small town there could be some good photo op spots!

I think that's incredibly awesome how you appreciate the detail and work that went into the garments you buy! :) well, the goal is to wear and enjoy them eventually. When I started, I thought cool, just sew a dress. And then I learned all of the foundation garments needed to create the proper silhouette and I'm sewing them by hand, no sewing machine allowed and well, I'm still sewing lol especially because I have a lot of other projects and crafts that I do too. But I hope to create full outfits that I can wear everyday, if I want. My dream, I guess, is to have a modern closet and a closet of historical outfits lol what about you? Do you wear Lolita all the time? I think it's an interesting journey, finding your own fashion identity and how a closet evolves and tells a story. :)

I used to wear casual clothes that did not stand out in a crown, but lately, I tried to experiment with colors and patterns and I need to say that I love this mixture. I try to choose clothes that are unconventional and add some accessories that will complete the look :)

I draw a lot of my inspiration from the 80s/90s. I flip through photo albums of my mum and I'm just amazed by the wardrobe she had back then. She's probably my biggest fashion influence. I'm big on decades and I guess that's why my style changes a lot
