thank you for everything, cherri ♥ i can imagine beating your head against the proverbial wall would get exhausting real quickly. despite the limitations and challenges outside of your control, you managed to bring a lot of good to the community. i think i speak for all of us, older and newer players alike, when i say we are grateful. i've been on this site for 4 years now with varying levels of activity and engagement, so i'm aware that none of the problems here are exactly new, but it's a real goddamn shame to see the direction we appear to be going in. i haven't been too involved in the politics of the site lately and have been pretty much staying in my lane, so i know that the shitty circumstances i'm aware of probably don't even scratch the surface of all that's been happening. and to put it plainly that just sucks. it sucks that you feel the need to step down, it sucks that there are so many people choosing to leave the site, it all just sucks a lot. i love this site to death but i too see absolutely no merit in putting it before yourself, especially when you're met with so much dogshit from the person with more power than you. what's the point in fighting that? sounds like a losing battle to me. try not to blame yourself too much, we can all see you did your best in the time you held the position. thanks again, cherri! ^_^

as a semi-related side note, i want to bring attention to a crucial reply on the previous page of this thread from one of the parody troll accounts. "and yet you keep replying to us." as a community, i really want us all to chew on that statement and what it means. obviously, trolls should be moderated by the leadership, but as we're seeing and have Been seeing for a while now regarding certain individuals, that isn't likely to happen. next time you see a post from a known troll, or even a suspected new troll, before you reply, i want you to take a step back and ask yourself what engaging them is going to accomplish. are you going to 'own' them? are you going to get them to stop? let's be honest with ourselves, the answer is probably no. trolls FEED off of the negative attention some people on here are happily feeding them. there is a certain individual on here who i have not directly spoken to in probably two years who Still will poke at me periodically, trying to get me to engage. in fact, i wouldn't be surprised if they reply to this message as they have been suspiciously quiet in this thread. my point is, i have chosen to refuse them the attention they crave and i suggest we all start doing the same for any sort of troll. for your own sake and for everyone else's sake on the site. i say none of this to chastise anyone, i only wish to stop the needless fighting and arguing with people who don't deserve your time. going forward, i hope to see more actual moderation of these individuals, but like i said, that doesn't seem likely. thanks for reading ♥

what made you stand out as PB was all the hard work and determination you put out. this isn’t to undermine or put down previous PBs- but given the situation of what’s been going on here, you always kept your head up and stood your ground. even with this decision you’re so incredibly strong for pulling through. you entered the battlefield in the middle of a war and that takes BALLS. 


on that note- i’ve supported this website long enough and will be cancelling my subscription too. it’s not in my interest to support a site that only cares to push a mediocre subscription than to make it worth it while also spamming me with fuck ass court cases that make no sense to have. I want to become Prime Ximbo. How do I do that?
Any Ximbo citizen can become Prime Ximbo using the democratic process. Its a 3 stage process from Senator>State Minister> Prime Ximbo. All Ximbo citizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo they must first become a Ximbo senator. All Ximbo senators are electable as state ministers. State Minister elections take place every 4 months also. Only state ministers are eligible to then become the Prime Ximbo.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 3 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Internet republic of Ximbolands holds elections every 4 months for Prime Ximbo and 4 months for State Minister.

Where do important discussions take place?
The Forum.

What is the treasury/Prime Ximbos salary?
The treasury/salary is the bank account of the Internet republic of Ximbo land. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 4 month term in charge.

How is the treasury calculated?
The treasury is funded by the Ximbo citizens.
A percentage of the money paid by Ximbo citizens via Paypal and SMS is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is wisely used for further game development.
