As you know State Wars: Tricks & Treats didn’t end on the best of terms for us or any state. The hacker spoiled the game for us, though on the plus side (a small plus) the hacker didn’t get to end it themselves. We, as the citizens of Ximboland got the victory over the hacker on who ended State Wars first but nonetheless it was ended early with no real winner. Let’s be honest, the whole thing sucks. I’m sorry that all the time you put into providing max points for our state and to secure a victory for us came to an abrupt end. I understand that the effort you put in along with purchases and running down your diamond count and/or your artifacts for it to came to nothing. And it is most disheartening for us who were there for the 1st SW hack and to experience it yet again.
To other states it didn’t look like we were going to win but we know the truth. We were getting ready to make our move. Unfortunately the hack happened on the same day. The evidence is on the leaderboard and i’m sure we owls would have conquered the fishes who looked like our main competitor. Both states, I remind you, have no multipliers and we did it all from pure grit and drive to win for our states. There is one thing the hacker can’t take away from us and that is our team spirit. State Wars brings us together, the camaraderie we have from it makes us a strong state. It makes me so proud how owls have handled the State Wars with your trust in the game plan even when it seemed like we were behind, but also how we conducted ourselves after the hack.

It was amazing how quick you unlocked boosters, most of the time it was done within minutes. Lets not forget that one booster which was open for not even 10 secs before being unlocked. Nothing can come in between our teamwork. Now, let’s thank our State Minister PlaguedBrat for leading the charge on the leaderboard for our state for all 5 days and gave us all something to aspire to and believe in ourselves. Another thanks to our other generals Susan Slutzky and MADAMEGLOOMY for leading the charge for the game plan we laid out and being supportive of our SM, state citizens and state morale.
And one more thank you to our owl citizens for the amazing job you did during State Wars. No matter how large or small you contributed point wise, it was all a team effort. Our state pride was on the line and every single one of you who took part made the difference. Owls don’t leave the nest, we come together as one big Freethinkerland flock. We will fly high again, when/if another State Wars comes around. Be proud of yourselves purple owls. Until next time. ♥︎
