I'm not really sure if this is the right place to post this but I had a quick question that I was hoping someone might be able to answer.
Back when this place was known as Miss Bimbo, I would receive periodic e-mails from some Bimbo proclaiming to be a force of goodness that seemed to be waging war against this demonic bimbo that would also occasionally send messages. My partner and I both received these so I know it wasn't a completely isolated situation.

I've always been a little bit curious... What exactly was that?

As far as I understood it was that way way way back in the day there was a group of people who started an off site group called occupy bimbolands. The how and the why, I really have no idea. At any rate, when the site going through major changes, there was a character called the "black bimbo" that was introduced. It was in one sense a "gimmick"/story and increased traffic. There were those who sided with the black bimbo and all the changes and those who sided with the pink bimbo and sugary goodness, welcoming change. I don't know if the black bimbo was ever really truly associated with the renegades who banded together to fight the system and created occupy or if it was something else. Either way, I think its safe to say, that the black bimbo and occupy could be called "urban legends" associated with the community and the site. Some grains of truth entwined with all the stories and theories we all have heard ;)


Perhaps someother older members can share their versions of the story/legend ;) Would be neat to see them :) .

I remember the Black Bimbo. Back in the days of Miss Bimbo a dark force came to Bimbo land. She wore store items that were recolored black and unavailable to us regular Bimbos. She would send me messages to join her against all the "Pink" girly Bimbos. I refused her many times, I'm no follower! I am a dark soul with a dark look. In fact, I was mad at the black bimbo for stealing my "look". Her outfit was almost exactly like mine, except for her Tiara and other items being recolored in a black tone that was not available for purchase anywhere on the site. She then started to threaten me about The End of Bimbo days and Bimbogeddon. The whole site would shut down after her cyber attacks. I think one time she made all the clothes in shop $1 or something like that. She was the end of Miss Bimbo. I miss the original game. Now a days "Gothic" and "Spooky" bimbos are a dime a dozen. Which leaves me to think... Maybe the Black Bimbo won.

) Thank you for this form. I completely forgot about that. I really thought it was a real cyber attack. Like some hacker who just wanted to mess with people or a disgruntled employee. I don't think i joined the black bimbo because i didn't want to get hacked. I love my bimbo and it made me sad the site shut down.  I'm so glad it's back :D

Oh dear, everyone has the story all wrong. Veteran Bimbo here to straighten shit out for you ;)

Occupy Bimboland never had any affiliation to The Black Bimbo and was in fact made as a protest to all of the changes that the site owner, Chris, was forcing upon it's userbase. The "Black vs. Pink" storyline was one of these changes that no one was interested in, and was very publicly fought against. The bodyguard daily payment and the boyfriend allowance being denied was another thing we fought against.
The Black Bimbo storyline didn't have anything to do with the hacking because Chris WAS the Black Bimbo.
The hacker was a friend of two disgruntled players(or possibly a spouse irl, not sure) who decided that he wanted to give Chris a little payback, and all hell broke loose because of it. Chris blamed a lot of different people, including Occupy Bimboland, but at the end of the day, there really was no way to know who was behind it for sure, unless you take the word of someone who actually spoke to the hacker and got their reasons.
Hopefully that clears up a few things :)

Ok I am here to ask another question, I'm a bit lazy and therefore did not completly search the forum for the anwsers, are clothes still lvl bound or are all available no matter the lvl? On the old site they were and I pretty much have seen them all and now I can't figure out if new ones are appearing as I am lvling. :)

I want to become a minister or Prime Ximbo. How do I do that?
Any Ximbo citizen can become Prime Ximbo using the democratic process. Its a 2 stage process from Senator>Prime Ximbo. All Ximbo xitizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo/a minister they must first become a Ximbo senator.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 6 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland holds elections every 3 months for Prime Ximbo and every 3 months for State Ministers.

What is the treasury/ministers/Prime Ximbos salary?
The treasury/salary is the bank account of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 3 month term in charge.

The treasury is funded by the Ximbo xenators.
A percentage (33%) of the money paid by Ximbo xenators via Paypal is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is used for further Ximboland development.
