every day, countless ximbos are forced 2 live with a terrible burden: they have thought of an outfit item that does not exist.
maybe it's the perfect pair of heels. maybe it's a handbag shaped like a rotisserie chicken. maybe u have been carrying the vision of the world's sluttiest little capelet in ur heart for YEARS but lack the time, skills, patience, or necessary number of functioning limbs 2 draw it urself.
NO XIMBO SHOULD HAVE 2 SUFFER LIKE THIS.
that's why the Nine's Make-A-Wish Foundation is proud 2 offer our first ever FASHION WISH GRANT PROGRAM <3
our mission is simple:
✧ U DREAM IT. I DRAW IT. NINE'S SELLS IT. ✧
submit an idea 4 an item u have always wanted 2 see in the ximbo shops: a description, drawing, moodboard, MS paint diagram, attractively patterned Excel spreadsheet, etc. are ALL acceptable.
3 wishes will be granted.
the design fairy (c'est moi) will take the winning concepts, map them 2 ximbo proportions & lovingly shove them into the design pipeline <3
plus the winning items will be named by/credited 2 the ximbo who wished 4 them, so if u have ever dreamed of beginning ur own tiny fashion empire in Nine's? this is ur chance.

♡ THREE WISHES PER XIMBO
u may submit up to 3 different item concepts per user.
this is an honor system <3
pls do not arrive wearing a fake moustache bc we started checking 4 those after last year's Incident.
♡ GIVE THE DESIGN FAIRY SOMETHING 2 WORK WITH
ur entry should communicate the item clearly enough that i can understand the vision (taller order than it sounds ok)
if ur submitting a written entry, tell me the details that matter most: shape, material, colors, embellishments, etc.
“cute dress” = difficult wish 2 grant, “tiny pink satin babydoll dress with marabou cuffs, rhinestone straps & an irresponsibly large bow on the butt” = the foundation understands ur needs
♡ ONE WISH = ONE ITEM
pls keep each submission reasonably achievable as one dress-up item.
a dress? yes.
shoes? yes.
hair? yes.
a hat? yes.
one of those pedigree pugs that's so genetically mangled that it needs a breathing tube 24/7? regrettably yes.
“the entire court of Versailles being attacked by angry bees while my ximbo escapes on a helicopter in haute couture” may exceed current Foundation funding.
♡ HALLOWEEN IS A VIBE, NOT A REQUIREMENT
since we're granting wishes in October, spooky/autumn/Halloween concepts are extremely welcome...
BUT THEY R NOT REQUIRED.
witches, vampires, monsters, costumes, gothic nonsense, pumpkins & haunted couture? sure, but also: glamorous hot celebrity debutante? y2k mall princess? the perfect prop 2 complete ur pop culture cosplay? u will not be turned away <3

winning concepts will need 2 be translated into ximbo proportions & the realities of the dress-up system, so some details may need 2 be adjusted, simplified, exaggerated, moved around, etc.
i will stay faithful 2 the spirit of ur wish, but pls allow a little room 4 ✧design fairy interpretation✧.

a beautifully drawn submission ≠ automatic victory!! a doodle done in 45 seconds on the back of a napkin could absolutely win if the idea makes me giggle or go "OMG I NEED THAT."
♡ THE FOUNDATION'S BENEFICIARIES ♡
3 winning wishes will be selected.
each winner will have their concept:
✧ redrawn & adapted 4 ximbo proportions
✧ submitted into the official design pipeline
✧ credited 2 its original wisher
✧ APPLICATION PERIOD ✧
Wishes accepted: October 5st–20th (adjusted bc i 4got to start it on the 1st so y'all get an extra 4-5 days)
after applications close, the Foundation will spend the remainder of the pre-Halloween season hunched over a drawing tablet fulfilling its sacred charitable obligations.
