it is my absolute honour and pleasure to say hello as your new state minister. you may have seen that, unfortunately, there was only one candidate on the ballot, and that while there wasn’t much of a choice, i am still going to strive to do the best possible job i can as your state minister in our little fish tank ~
as always i want to give the most love to audrey, who has been the most amazing state minister that we could’ve asked for, and i’m going to do my best to follow in her footsteps. thank you for your leadership for the past year that we’ve had you, and i won’t let you or the fish gang down.

in case you missed it, my name is lea ( you may refer to me by name, lovelifegirl or LLG for short ) and i wanted to take this time to go through some things as your new state minister. ૮꒰ྀི⸝⸝> . <⸝⸝꒱ྀིა
♡ monthly contests ♡
of course, we’ll be continuing our monthly fashion contests with diamond prizes and banners ( which i am super excited for! i already have our first one planned, and i hope you’re as excited as i am ). i have yet to decide how future monthly contests ( while i am the state minister ) whether i choose the theme, or if we do what we’ve done and let our community decide. if there is a preference among our school of fish, please do let me know, however i am leaning more towards myself choosing [ for now ], because i think surprise themes could be a bit fun, what do you think?
now for judging, in our first monthly contest, it will be as follows;
-> first place // second place // third place // players choice + others at my discretion
players choice will be the most liked outfit, and the rest of the podium will be judged by myself and other unbiased individuals. the reason i bring this line of judging up ( at least for our first contest ) is so it gives everyone equal chance and opportunity to win the major prizes; the users who are on the last or later pages, more often than not, don’t win, and your entry may not be viewed as much as the users who had entered before you. for the next contest, the most liked outfit will be ‘players choice’. if, by chance, the most liked outfit is a major prize winner, then the next most liked outfit will win that prize.
if you all prefer the like ratio for our monthly contests as they have been, then please do let me know! this is all new to me, and as my first term i’d love to hear any feedback!

one of the things i wanted to continue was the birthday board tradition. if you haven’t added your birthday yet to our atheista birthday board, you can find the link to it here. you’ll get a sweet surprise when it’s your birthday ♡⸜(˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝
