See the thing about playing a character on this site is that the majority of us is not playing a character. The majority of us are here to play dress up. The majority of us participate in politics because Chris is a man shaped shit show who does not know how to manage his own fucking site, and we use the politics as a way to make this site more enjoyable to use despite Chris's attempts to self-sabotage that. The most straightforward way of doing this is SM's hosting fashion contests as a way to create engagement.
There is an apropriate time to be a character, and this was not it. You'll notice that I too play a character on this site. The difference is, I know when it's apropriate to do that and when it is not.
Yes I am mad at this situation we are now in (not a great way to approach people who have a justified reason to be pissed off btw), but I'm willing to give misogynist a chance to fix this by taking this responsibility seriously, like he said he would.
