Fear of being forgotten, athazagoraphobia
Who would be better to represent the way I feel about it than Lucifer himself: brightest stars on his head, once seen as the prettiest of angels... and his pride was so big it swallowed him and made him fall from Heaven, forgotten as what he once was. What better way to erase the face of someone you once saw as your brother in arms than simply taking it out of them? What better way to make sure they cannot fly back to their friends and show they're still there than cut their wings short?
What better way to make even them forget themselves than erase and dim all their light into darkness?
Thus the Prince of Hell was born: unable to be remembered for its past glory, only able to watch as the world keeps going without him. All he remembers is its royal markings from an once glorious past.

gerascophobia - the fear of aging
our bodies change as they age, and that's scary! the anti-aging industry is worth over 50 billion USD, and they want you to be afraid!
we think we will probably turn out like eldritch granny here who is not conventionally attractive, and maybe we are scared of declining healths or just the future in general (god knows I am!), but she just looks scary and is actually very nice and will probably bake you cookies with her tentacles. studies suggest retirees are the happiest age group. things will be alright. let her babysit ur children (human or otherwise).
unless global warming and climate change kill us all, of course.

A mix of both Astraphobia & Ecclesiophobia - Fear of thunderstorms, and fear of church/organised religion, two fears that have definitely kept me up at night!
The inspiration came from an instance where I was outside in a thunderstorm, alone. I took shelter in an empty church, which only made the situation more terrifying. But, I still preferred to be there. The fears together represent being lied to by those that promised you a loving God figure, leaving you faithless, in an already shitty situation, to the point your greatest fears, be that thunder and lightning, become less frightful than the bigger picture.
Because I am incapable of coming up with ideas without something deafening me, this was inspired by the Ghost album, Meliora, and the song Square Hammer also by Ghost. That era of their music explored godless themes, the horrors of organised religion, and featured lightning imagery in the art and video aesthetics. A lot of listening back and forth between the songs went into it, while I created this monstrosity lol. I call it "Cirice", which is “church“ in Latin, and after the song Cirice from the same album. It seemed appropriate :)
I Did get a little carried away with the concept but, this was fun. Thank you, bimboland user meatbomb, for hosting this epic contest <333
