My company just announced it's closing for the next two weeks. Schools here have also closed for the next two to four weeks. The closures may be extended depending on how the situation develops here. I know this is creating financial hardship for folks. I feel your struggle. Stay safe, everyone.

I live in the US in a state with many confirmed cases. My spring break technically started today and two weeks afterward, we'll have online classes. Most other classes in the state have already committed to being online for the rest of the semester. I hope this turns around but I'm doubtful. Today the governor shut down all restaurants, movie theaters and gyms. I hate being so locked in.

There are some people in my country (France) who don't understand the gravity of the situation and don't respect the quarantine. Our president publicaly scolded us for that today (lol) and announced that from tomorrow 12h, it will be a full quarantine, going outside will be allowed only for work (for those who can work) and for important moves (food, health care)
This worldwide situation is CRAZY
So please people, if some of you take it carelessly, please don't because hospitals can be saturated if there are too much cases of contaminations, not to mention those you can contaminate if you have the virus and could die.

i traveled to 2 airports a few days ago to come home and now both airports are closed! i barely made the cutoff!!! my uni is closed, clinics are closed, everything is closed. is so scary!!! (⋟﹏⋞) i am quite worried for the people in my community. also there is no toilet paper left!
I've been working remotely for a week already, this is the start of my 2nd week. I work primarily with university students so with the students forced to leave campus, there isn't that much work to be done anyway (I'm sure for the higher-ups it's a nightmare but my job is pretty low level and depends on student activities, of which there are none now). Not sure when I will return to work. I'm glad I'm still being paid and hope it stays that way...
on the other hand my boss's boss was trying to force me to come into work to which I was like "ummm no" and if she asks again I will have to raise hell because tbh my job is not essential in ANY way and it's not worth anyone's health being risked.

My province is the hardest hit but compared to other countries we are not doing so bad. My university moved to online classes today, still got to do assignments and exams online. my mom works in banquets and her many of their client's canceled and so she has no work for the next two weeks. My sister is a flight attendant and is being laid off along with 50% of flight attendants. we are all staying home and only going out for groceries. Time is passing so slowly cause i mostly have to do school work, but when that shit is over its gaming time, hopefully then time will pass faster and all of this will be over soon.

School is out for three weeks and all the events scheduled have been canceled. Restaurants, movie theaters, bars, and the like are closed.
I've heard rumors of a full shutdown of all buildings and offices but for now people are still going into work and the stores are still open. They claim restocks will be happening more frequently and guards are always there to make sure people don't start fights.
