My wife nad me will go into self quarantine for two months. We are not infected so far and I hope thiswill continue but we are old and the risc for us to die is high. This week I made homeoffice. My boss decided to slow down all activity and sent 30% to home including me. Fortunately we will get some support from the state but this will reduce my income to 50%.
We have in my country 14.000 infected individuals right now, 42 died so far. But I think this will escalate within the next five days. The next large city, 20 km away from here is one of the most infected cities in my country. We have aborted all social contacts. Fortunately (we are no preppers) we have enough to eat for two months in stock.
Spring is coming and we have enough stuff to heat until summer. We are heating with wood and coal, this is unusual in my country. But if infrastructure breaks down and there is no electricity anymore, the only thing I will miss is internet and beer ;-)

Yep! Working from home here for the next couple of weeks... we will see how this goes. But it does give me more time to be here!
My school just announced that it's going to be online for the rest of the semester. Graduation has been postponed. Before, we were going to do two weeks of online learning and then hopefully go back. I had little hope we'd go back but I thought after three weeks, maybe this thing would be better. This was my senior year. It sucks. Also, I am NOT going into debt for food that i did not eat and housing that I did not sleep in! The school better refund us.

my schools also closed indefinitely which sucks bc i have to do all my art classes at home. im painting in my basement but its so cold down there lol.

they just closed the schools today, my uni shifted to online learning like a week ago but i had already started to isolate about a week before that. people keep panic buying and so many of the shops are empty... :/

my state is slowly shutting down. i just got the okay from work to paid leave, i feel really guilty about it because i feel like im abandoning my coworkers but i work food service and its SO risky, especially when my bf is super at risk to the virus... so soon i'll be pretty much quarantined
