This whole situation sucks. I can't find a decent job, and even tho the whole period was ok for us, as my mom got a better salary and I didn't have many things to waste money on, I still feel bad for not having a job. And in my field (with bachelor and master's degree) I can only get the minimum wage.Yep, I lost my job.
jamie fae wrote:Yeah, I see that too. I had to order Puffs online because the stores either didn't have them, or they only had the square boxes, which are a pain to get them out of, especially when half asleep!a LOT of stuff is out of stock, or they only have one brand.Or, they're unfamiliar brands. Sometimes I even see products in other languages, like maybe they're importing products.

I know a couple people with their bachelors, who couldn't get decent job & this was before Covid-19. Keep trying, things will get better, sweetie.

Yeah, the minimum wage before covid is also my situation. Now I can't even get that minimum. Thank you for the kind words!I hate the people with Bachelor's degrees & even post-graduate work get paid less than people without degrees.

Seriously, I have post-graduate work, passed 2 board exams, but when I was working I got paid less than a janitor I know & less than a carpenter I know....I know money isn't everything, but it sucks to spend all that money on school & supervised practice hours to then make less money than people who didn't.
Yup, totally feel you. I would never judge people with jobs that don't require uni studies, but I do get frustrated when I could just as easily work at a supermarket and be paid better than being a physical therapist.Yes! Especially in this weird economy. My hospital laid off almost all of the physical therapists, 1 of 2 speech therapists, and many other important allied health workers. Then, all the other healthcare facilities around me are furloughing or laying off workers and having hiring freezes. Then, when I apply to work at a supermarket, I'm "overqualified."
