Not imo. I succesfully watched all of Arrow long before I even started Flash, and I am not intending to watch Supergirl anytime soon because I have heard Things about queer baiting, and I am not about that, nuh-uh. I'd rather have an all hetero focused show than one that teases me with the possibility of queer content that will never come. *cough* Steven Moffat can fuck off *cough*

Actually I think I also watched all of Buffy first before I dived into Angel. I got the whole bunch of them as a gift from my wonderful uncle as a teen <3 I found it all still cohesive, but I have a good memory about tv shows and stories so I easily recall references to old events in shows etc, and that might not be normal? I've just always had a good movie memory. There's probably some interesting brain science and psychology behind that. How people remember things is actually pretty telling.

I think I've gotten this impression because whenever I see Supergirl talked about it's about Kara being shipped with another girl from this show and I've gotten the impression they have a queerbaity relationship.
Well, another great and high-key underated show is Wynona Earp. It has everything I like in it. Demons, women who hunt demons, women who are demons, buddy cop vibes, melodrama, w/w relationship that gets a lot of attention... oh. And did I mention? Cowboy vibes. What goes together better than cowboys and cows you ask? Well, apparently cowboys and demons. This show is like Supernatural but with a lot more yeehaw and a lot less misogynistic writing. Though I'm only in season one...

Basically it seems like I assumed Supergirl queerbaits because all I've seen about it is that a lot of people want Kara to be in a relationship with another woman but she is not and will not be, despite their relationship being sometimes written with romantic tension in it, allegedly. (What can be read as such, I should say, it's all about interpretation and gays are experts at reading themselves into text that likes excluding their existence entirely.) But seeing as it is a show which actually does have queer representation that seems to be overall well received think my assumption has been wrong.
