Where I am, things are very cautiously opening back up, and that's a little scary as I know not everyone will follow procedures and be respectful but I was having a bit of a tough time being alone. My friends keep me stable and my love language is touch so those few months where we could not go out at all were very hard for me. I hope things continue to look up

I'm agoraphobic so I'm at home 24/7 anyway. Haven't left the house since February. Not much changed for me, except that for a while delivery services were overrun with demand so I couldn't get groceries, that wasn't great, there was a period when all I was eating were cereal bars I got on Amazon (almost all other food was sold out for weeks). Now more services have stepped up and more companies have made an effort to let you do things by e-mail or phone, which is awesome for me long-term.

If anything, the weirdest part of this for me is seeing how hard it is for regular people to cope with being inside 24/7. Part of me is just like "Hah, welcome to my world", but I realise it's a very different experience for someone who actually likes to be inside/near people.
My country just entered its second national lockdown.

I miss having classes at school, everything is online now and we only have ONE day where we can be at school, which isn't great when you're doing a study that entirely relies on teamwork and group projects where you also make physical things

The only good thing about online school is that I don't have to bike through the cold and rain to get to school

I'd kill for being able to go out to a pub or restaurant. I'm a home-bird and I don't mind to stay at home but... well, it's also better to stay because it's my choice, not because I'm forced to :D

I literally don't wanna go anywhere because you have to wear a mask in every store. So I have been online shopping recently but I miss how the world used to be.

I miss spontaneity. I miss being able to leave the house without having to check to be sure everyone has a mask. I miss being able to go someplace without having to confirm that it's actually open. I miss movies in the theater, with popcorn and ridiculously large sodas.

My state was in phase 3. We've got illness running rampant, so we're going back to a modified phase 2. I'll be working from home half the time (okay, I don't mind that - any day I don't have to commute is a good day). Our governor says he doesn't want to go back to a lockdown, but he's quick to slap restrictions on businesses (when our cases come more from social gatherings than everyday things like making groceries or going to work). We're hoping to be able to travel to see family for Christmas, but it isn't looking good.

Aw, man. That does suck. And I don't understand it, because what, it's a smart virus? It only infects people after 10 PM?

I think it is to limit social gatherings, or at least the amount of time that we can socialize
