I am in full support of the proposed strike system, I personally work on a website that works with a strike system and it works wonders to keep people from overstepping boundaries, and if they do keep overstepping those boundaries they will receive that permaban

I'm not really involved with the inner workings of this site, nor do I know anything, but I'm glad people care about this stuff. I support you guys 100%, and I hope you guys can make some real change in the future.
God, yeah, there is a serious lack of moderation on this site. I reported a large number of bots a while ago and never got a response about it. I do agree with other users, I think they should just sell it. Although that could easily make the site worse.

Yeah, this seriously bothers me. This is a hypersexualized site, they either need to change it or ban minors. It won't stop minors from joining in the first place, but it's inappropriate to outright allow it.

i think the discussion about the age limit changing out of the blue is really important. i don't think i was here for when it happened as i'm a rather fresh player but it's outrageous to me that this site started allowing minors to sign up out of a whim and never bothered to develop any tools to protect them. you can't even block people who make you uncomfortable here without the offender being notified which makes me feel extremely unsafe and i'm a grown ass adult.
not to mention all of the adult content built within the site. call me a prude if you need to but i don't think sixteen-year-olds should be encouraged by the game to ask strangers online to be their fuckbuddies :/
and like many others i too am disturbed by the recent election results and disappointed to hear nothing will be done despite the immediate outcry of the userbase and the prime bimbo's best efforts to arrange a re-election. if someone has to be repeatedly sanctioned for the way they are behaving around other users maybe they should not be eligible to apply for positions of power just a thought.

wow, i just joined recently because i used to play neopets.com for 20 years, and that site is dying and i thought this was an ingenious and similar place -- i was hooked. but hearing this all is so depressing. i cannot emphasize enough that there are SO FEW games on the internet where people genuinely care about others and do not promote hatred and homophobia, transphobia, racism and sexual harassment... i thought this was one of them at first glance (i don't know the inner workings at all) which is why i stuck around. i think a safe space is one of the most unique assets this place has, and probably one of the main reasons this place attracts new members and stays alive -- hopefully administrators and other community members take note of this and act accordingly.

I'm fairly new here but after reading older members input on the site, it really saddens me that this is happening! I joined ironically but actually really enjoy this site. </3 I really hope BL starts listening to the public, because if not the user base will start to dwindle and so will the makers income.
