I enjoy cryptids like scorned/sad women. Woman in White, there's a Japanese lady with only a head and she eats you or something, and an Irish (I think) one who lives near a lake who looks normal but then she turns around and you can see her spine. Idk any lonely lady I'm super drawn to, I'm sure there's some in most countries
Cryptic Cryptid Lottery ¿?
I'm back with another cryptid from Oregon: Colossal Claude ! This creature was spotted at least 4 times in the Columbia River throughout the 1930s. Claude was said to be about 40 feet long, with a serpentine tail but the head of a horse, giraffe, or camel. One sighting also mentioned specifically how it was hairy :0 what the heck could Claude actually be !
My favorite cryptid is Mothman, and one of my favorite facts is there's actually a Mothman statue for him in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, USA, which was unveiled in 2003 and has quickly become a world-famous cryptid landmark.
The Florida Skunk Ape
Also known as the "swamp Sasquatch" It is commonly smelt before seen, with a disgusting rotting eggs odour. Sightings heightened in the 1970's when residential construction encroached on their habitat. legend also states it was cannibalistic. There have been multiple Skunk Ape sightings in Palm Beach, Hernando, Pasco, Monroe and Collier Counties. Many researchers believe that Skunk Apes are the descendants of orangutans that escaped from traveling circuses that frequented Florida during the mid-20th century.

Back with another Oregon cryptid (I miss living there if you couldn't tell lol), this time it's the Gumberoo! A gumberoo is said to look like a hairless bear. They're always hungry, making them aggressive, and they're freaking bulletproof!! Their weakness is fire, and something about their skin makes them super combustible, and this weakness is one reason that lumberjacks offer up as a cause of forest fires. The fact that they explode into flames is also a reason that they're so rare to find lmao!
The Yowie
The Australian Big-foot. The creature has been evident throughout the centuries of Aboriginal oral history and reported sightings continue today. The Kuku Yalanji tribe of far north Queensland claim that they long co-existed with the Yowie, though it has reportedly attacked them on more than one occasion. There are 2 types of Yowie, one that can grow to 10 ft tall and others only to 5 ft or less. They have copper coloured fur and are usually shy. Some believe it was an early hominid that 'went extinct' along with Australian mega-fauna.
Champ, a lake monster from lake Champlain, Over the years, there have been over 300 reported sightings of Champ. He was first spotted in the early 1600s. And had been elusive since.

The Beast of Bray Road, is the name given to a wolf-like creature allegedly reported to have been witnessed in or near Elkhorn, Walworth County and Wisconsin. The Beast of Bray Road is often described by alleged witnesses as large, between 6 feet (1.8 m) and 7 feet (2.1 m) tall, with a humanoid style body, covered in fur or hair, and with a head resembling a wolf and large, glowing red or orange eyes. The creature was allegedly first sighted in 1936. In the 1980s, several alleged witnesses reported the beast had made contact with their vehicles, leaving long scratch marks on doors and trunks of vehicles. Sightings also have been reported during daylight hours, with several witnesses stating they observed an unusually large wolf-like creature running on all fours through corn fields. One witness stated she hit something while crossing Bray Road. Animal mutilations have also been reported in the area around Bray Road with animal remains, including deer and livestock, partially eaten with specific organs removed from the animal carcasses.
