hello pollyx i have dressed myself in the shops as a Pimiento-Stuffed Manzanilla Olive, my favorite food of all time. my desire for this contest was to not only embody an olive gijinka, something I have made myself with a large, human-sized papermache+foam green olive for me to place my body inside as a costume, but also to tell a story.
here, we have the noble, cunty, green olive. she is not alone, but submerged and surrounded by her other olive friends. winston overwatch once said, "this will protect us!" and i believe this to be our beloved olive's sentiments towards the glass jar she finds herself sealed within. inside the jar is the brine, which keeps her safe, and well preserved (you can keep olives refrigerated after opening as long as they are in the brine btw). and her friends, fellow olives, all unpitted and stuffed full and tight with pimiento in their gaping open holes. did you know olives have a little butthole? just like pompompurin! it's true! our magnificent, cunty little olive, safe, happy, and blissfully unaware of the incoming hands that want nothing more than to plunge their fingertips in and display you as little more than meat--or worse, a mere garnish--among their charcuterie board. Cannibalism as a metaphor for love.

-the square silhouette of the hair, chosen to mimic the presliced rectangular pimiento pepper sticking out of the top of the olive
-the round, bulbous silhouette of the dress, with olive green and light yellow colors to represent both the darker outer skin and lighter, juicy olive flesh
-the meticulous layering of digital and background items to achieve the illusion of a glass jar filled with liquid. and olives.
-a singular martini glass as a prop, as dry as they come. some people say dry martinis were only invented to make it socially acceptable to drink the olive juice in public. to that i say: shed your cowardice! embrace the taste you desire! alcohol does nothing but sully an already perfect concoction.

if anyone asks, my favorite olive brands are Early California, H-E-B "Ode to Olives", USFoods Monarch queen olives (very rare restaurant supply only), and Target's Market Pantry. these are my ideal olives. those mini snack olives individually packed in the little 4packs are, unfortunately, garbage trash. i only want good olives. as a wise and beautiful sexy woman once said in Splatoon 3 (2022), "if you see me in the target parking lot drinking olive juice directly from the jar: Mind your business" a beautiful quote by snappy aka p[iripiel. please consider my submission. what in god's green earth is a banner.

I did princess cake/prinsesstårta ! Green and pink for the outer layers/rose decorations, white for the inside and powdered sugar, and brown hair for the chocolate that decorates some of them! Wanted to give it a very cutesy look to match the cake's appearance and its name :) a banner would be cool!
