This is one of my prettiest and most popular looks but there is a lot of symbolism in it. It is a re-work of an old look, I kept the face but changed everything else. I was never entirely satisfied with the original and it was a source of frustration for a long time because I couldn’t create the look I was after. Anyway I’m happy with how this look has worked out... 1) The white signifies purity but not in a virginal way, but purity of focus, feeling and emotion. She is focussed entirely on her body and her feelings at this point in time, nothing else matters, she is oblivious to her surroundings (there is no real background or other distractions). 2) I used red (butterflies, rose and hairclip) to draw the eye up and down her body, to focus the viewers eye on her body (and her nakedness underneath) and face (and the pleasure she is feeling). 3) The horns represent the animalistic / primal nature of humans, and of the devil if you like. That, the look on her face and her nakedness reference the pleasures associated with the ‘sin’ of the flesh. This image is all about sex and specifically the feeling of pleasure that sex brings. 4) Although she is clothed and wears lots of layers her clothes feel light and transparent to her and almost as if they arent there. Her whole body is in such a heightened state of arousal that all she is concentrating on is how her body is responding to touch and how it is making her feel. 5) The butterflies serve two roles. Firstly they represent hands (of other people or herself) touching her body and bringing sexual pleasure. And secondly they can just be seen as beautiful butterflies but imagine yourself in her situation, on the edge of climax, having butterflies flying around you and feeling their little wings flutter against your skin and have that feeling take you over the edge!
