hello im new here,i have 5 cats. --LUCINDA/ROCCO/COCKPIT/TAMARA/JADAM-- i love all of them,i found lucinda n rocco inside the drain in front of my house when they still a kitten,jadam in front of my house people throw it.tamara came by herself looking for food ...cockpit its the only cat that i have at that time..from wen i was small until now imalready old i still have a cat lol....they r one of my good reason to b alive......

I really like dogs. Unfortunately, I live in an apartment and this is not so suitable for a dog. I have an iguana and her name is Iggy :D You may think that iguanas or having an iguana is horrible. Yes, they look a little bit horrible and first time, I thought like that. Surprisingly, I really like her now and I know that iguanas are very lovely and beautiful animals :)

Reading about Rabbits reminded me of my 'child-hood' friends, family. They bred rabbits for food. They lived "off the grid" so to speak.Sorry for bringing that memory back to you.
It was the most wild experience I've ever seen, and came to admire in a twisted way.
I loved visiting their home.
They had hundreds of rabbits and I must admit because there was 14 children in the family, everyone picked out a favorite pet. I was even included in the process, even though I was just a guest. One more little 8-16 year old girl in the home was not even noticed as a visitor.
Our favorites became breeders. Rabbits have a personality and the chore to care for the rabbits was always given to the younger children. (myself included) We couldn't help but to fall in love with them.
I did NOT like the harvest time. To be honest, I saw it only once, and I started to cry so bad that the mother actually took me inside and began to hold me and rocked me in her arms to calm me down like I was her own child. Just thinking about that memory has me in tears right now. As a clueless child I didn't know that what I thought was a piece of fried chicken was really a rabbit. I remember thinking the food always tasted better than what I was fed at my real home. It is a strange thought to be sure but seriously, I learned so much from that event. Enough to know I never wanted to see it ever again. I became a vegan, when having dinner with the family afterwards. They raised Pigs, Cattle, Chickens and Ducks too. I feel blessed to have been given that lesson in life though. I didn't mind eating the scrambled eggs in the morning. In fact duck eggs are much better tasting than any restaurant would/could ever serve. It was so hard for me though to grow so fond of the little creatures. I've held the little chicks in my hands. Watched them grow. Put my hands underneath the hens, to gather those eggs.
It is also part of the reason I refuse to Hunt, even though I live in a place that people travel too and spend Thousands of USD, just to kill a single Deer, or Elk, or Moose. I have a hunting license, that I refuse to use unless I was starving. I do catch fish however. For a resident, the license is nearly free but you must have it. Thank God there is a grocery store just down the street or I would certainly be starving myself. This was what life was like in the wild, wild west, when I was a child.
No, I don't have an aquarium. However, I love watching fish swim too. The rainbow trout caught and baked right on the edge of the river, is incredible. (as long as my 'Boys' put the worm on the hook for me.)

Now that it is nice enough to lounge around by the pool collecting raw data, I should do an update on my wild birds. The hawks have been somewhat calm now that the chicks have hatched. I have discovered 6 nests belonging to 6 different species. All within 60 feet of my back door. Robins, hawks and sparrows. (And)Three, I've never seen in this area before.
One with bright yellow breast feathers. Very territorial.
One all pure black, but very small, and very vocal. * I've learned it's calls/language/habits.
One with dark red breast feathers, but pale wings. Also small. Very pretty. Reminds me of a tropical bird.
The mates work so well together, feeding the babies. It makes me wonder what is wrong with humans with all their intelligence when it comes to caring for the human young?
As far as wildlife goes this year, I've had more unexpected visitors than ever before. It has been quite a blessing. The squirrels are raiding my strawberries, but even that is totally cute to watch. They nibble on them right in front of my face. I laugh at the gentle mockery, of mother nature.

I have two dogs, one is named Bella and she is probably the most beautiful dog ever, she is all white and very fluffy, but she sheds like crazy... She is a great Pyrenees/Lab mix. My other dog is named Toby and he is a Chocolate Lab/Hound mix. He is probably the stupidest dog ever, but we love him xD. I also take care of like 20+ dogs on the weekends though because I volunteer at a service dog breeding center so I get to raise the puppies. Yes, It is very cute lol.

May I ask what dog breed he/she is?
They're both sheepdog breeds and are very smart! Charlie on the other hand... Not so much xD she's obsessed with chasing her own tail and eating carpets. Shes only 7 months old so she's got a lot of growing to do yet but right now when she stands on her back paws she reaches my collar bone with her front paws! I'm only 5ft tall though.
