Congrats to all!! Flattered to have placed in the official poll, but I do agree, I thought the unofficial results seem more accurate. LadyLythtis and VirgoKitten were my absolute favourites!!

I apologize in advance should this get longer than I wish for ;) First of all thanks everyone who voted in the unofficial poll, I am very glad to have placed (and that high). All the others were so wonderful entries, it makes me really proud, that shewolf gathered so many votes. THANKS <3

@Ulvhild: I honestly did not know it was you! xD That is so great, I could scream right now. I loved the red riffle hood and thought I really needed a group picture with her and shewolf (they even were at the same place in the woods! My gosh that was close...) But at the time I did not know she was yours and I am so happy right now to see that :D And I made the picture with us together - although it might have come out a little... different.

That said: The following is... difficult. Because I find it difficult to speak out about this topic as someone who did not place in the official votings. Everything I say can easily be pushed away saying I am a sore loser. I acknowledge the changes that have been made since we first had that big discussion in the forums, but still the system is odd. As Iulja (and I guess others have) said: Creativity never wins. I had a hard time to come up with something for a couple rounds now and this time creativity struck and I was very proud how shewolf turned out. There were such great fairy tale references! Yes, drawing the line is hard especially looking at princesses. But I really don't get the choice on the podium. Don't get me wrong these were beautiful outfits!

Every month again I tell myself I will not enter any more because it just doesn't make sense. Tbh we all just want that damn achivement, don't we? I don't get why developers would put in such an achievement anyway. I nearly made my peace with the fact that I apparently will never win, because you know: If you are creative and think out of the box, you will not win. But if you do something expected what all the others do you easily drown between all the similar entries.

If there are around a hundred up to two hundred outfits, we really could be shown all of them. We handle the unofficial poll with 80+ entries some months don't we? All in one voting session because they are all on the same page. But we are not trusted to handle 120 entries over 7 days?
Again: How does this system work? Who is shown to whom? We are shown 56 entries now. If there were 154 entries in total I should have seen about a third of all. Why did I NOT see a third of the entries that I knew from the unofficial poll? Why do I instead get shown outfits repeatedly I did not vote for. Guys! I did not vote for them. WHY show them to me AGAIN and waste a perfectly good space that could have been filled with some new outfit. I get, that the thought might be "well, maybe you would want to pick 5 out of these 8 and you could not, so we show someone again in case against this new draw this outfit will get one of your three votes." It might be good intentions, I don't know. But it feels like some random outfit gets like three chances and others only get one - if any. Maybe my math is wrong.

To close the rant here is another idea: Maybe we look at this the wrong way. Even if the system is perfect from the technical point of view (and again: I hate it when developers keep it a secret how things work. It only looks suspicious.) the problem might be the voters themselves. The median of "points" people got was around 40 right? That makes around 6160 votes. Divided by number days and possibly three votes a day that still leaves me with around 300 people voting minimum (edit: if there were votes around 50/50 in prime bimbo election and one got ~230 votes, that it close to 500 people logging in and voting per day). Likely more, because some log in one day, but don't the other or just give one vote instead of three or don't vote at all and skip. I could imagine that someone not knowing what this is, or who just does not care or is annoyed just clicks one outfit or skip or just picks the first three and does not bother to vote according to theme but randomly or what looks nice regardless of the theme. This could maybe be fixed if only people who opted in were shown outfits to vote. I expect that people who entered will mostly have read the theme at least once. Yes, there are entries that do not fit the theme, but less. Also if someone argues every bimbo should have a voice regardless if they entered an outfit there could also be a free opt-in to "just vote". Maybe these ideas are crazy, just wanted to share.

Again: Congratulations to the official winners and the unofficial ones ;) And don't mind my little snarky picture...

LadyLythits you forget, that outfits repeat. You get 8 outfits to vote for, you can vote up to 3 times (or you can skip voting at all), so other 8-5 outfits can repeat next time. This way you get even less proposition then you have counted.

Yes! You're right. I included the repeating in the rant about I want to see more, but then forgot to calculate them out of the comparison what I saw here and there. :) Maybe it will be interesting to see how many outfits from the unofficial poll I did see. Sadly I did not take screens every day, because I was travelling. But I think you did that very diligently, so I could work from the screens in this thread and do the math for one person at least. If I find time and motivation ;)

We all already know the DQFC voting system was still flawed when it got changed from the start but its much better than it was before.

It would be perfect situation where everyone could see every outfit, it would give everyone more equal chances to win. So should this be discussed again with the bimbo team then?

I totally agree with LadyLythtis rant.. also TokiKonoe DEFINITELY I feel like this should be discussed...

I really feel like this is something that shouldn't be that very difficult to fix. I mean KirstyD8 does the unofficial poll every single month on her own why would the developers have such a difficult time following her model to have a fairer DQFC voting option? I know for a fact that I do not see a majority of the outfits that are entered into the contest during the voting rounds. And it really is sad because I do believe that a lot of entries get randomly short changed. I am literally forced to vote on a group of 8 random entries even if they are not great looks or I just forfeit my right to vote at all in the contest on that day. I know for a fact that I never saw LadyLythtis glam wolf or Ulvhild's rifle carrying red at all during the official contest and those 2 were my absolute favorites this month... :(

Currently we are all given 21 votes each over the 7 days (IF you log in every day that is).. then if they do a pole where you can vote up to 21 times that gives us each an equally number of votes (same number as currently available) but we get to use them on looks we actually love rather than looks we have to settle for that randomly pop up... and with voting once I don';t lose my voice if RL keeps me from being able to log in one day during the voting stage. Voting should still be open for the full 7 days it's just that you can do all of your voting at one time.
