I am a drag queen and love it! It's the only reason I actually picked a male avatar lol

A lot of drag is really seedy and sketchy and I don't think I'd be comfortable with kids being around most of it. Of course, there is a difference between like... drag at a bar and a dedicated family-friendly drag event though.

i've only been to one drag show, and i loved it - it was amazing being in such an openly queer place of joy.
i don't know how i feel about kids at drag shows - drag isn't not child friendly because it's queer, but because it's also usually very raunchy. which is great and fun! but it's not like straight people take their kids to burlesque.
but, if a drag show really is family friendly, or in the case of things like drag queens reading the kids, i think it's good. positive role models of gender conformance (and general queerness) are so important

I've loved drag and drag queens since I was a child. Drag Race was one of my first introductions to LGBT culture and spaces and I really needed that as a child growing up in a conservative catholic family in a conservative catholic country. I still watch Drag Race from time to time but I'm not super invested. I love this new era of drag which is more horror and anime inspired and a lot more gender-fxck than strictly feminine.

I've never been to a show but I'd love to.

I do believe drag has the capacity of being child-friendly. Nina West, who was in Drag Race is a prime example of what child-friendly drag can look like. But I think these shows should take place in different environments from bars and clubs. A drag theater company that makes stuff for kids would be a great idea. Children love colorful, crazy outfits and even the more feminine queens could carve up a space for themselves in that area since a lot of children also love princesses and fairy queens and all that.

A Ximbo minister is an elected or appointed official in the Ximboland government. These Ximbos are our leaders.

Who is the Prime Ximbo?
The Prime Ximbo is the democratically elected head of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland.

The Prime Ximbo lives in the Pink House for the 3 month term they are in office.

I want to become a minister or Prime Ximbo. How do I do that?
Any Ximbo citizen can become Prime Ximbo using the democratic process. Its a 2 stage process from Senator>Prime Ximbo. All Ximbo xitizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo/a minister they must first become a Ximbo senator.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 6 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland holds elections every 3 months for Prime Ximbo and every 3 months for State Ministers.

Where do important discussions take place?

What is the treasury/ministers/Prime Ximbos salary?
The treasury/salary is the bank account of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 3 month term in charge.

How is the treasury calculated?
The treasury is funded by the Ximbo xenators.
A percentage (33%) of the money paid by Ximbo xenators via Paypal is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is used for further Ximboland development.
