So, it's almost Halloween. What are your favorite horror movies? I wanna watch Scream so bad right now but I don't have access to it on any of my streaming services.

House of wax is good asf but gets slept on a lot but I don’t think I have a favorite cuz I love them all:) the guinea pig movies r scary af if you’re interested in something like that
I like the saw movies, halloween, hereditary, and anything with like possession and demons lol

i know its more of a comedy movie than anything but i like jennifer's body!! i unfortunately cannot handle horror too well.. increases my likelihood of nightmares :/ but i can handle comedy horror!

Yea, I only watch horror stuff and true crime because I have really bad paranoid (I know this sounds stupid but lemme explain). Horror and true crimestuff doesn't make me feel scared or nervous. Since I have really bad paranoia to the extent where I will believe that there is someone in my house going to kill me or There is someone outside banging on the door (which their isn't, I just hear it.). I will also walk up after having only a few hours sleep and i've found that watch horror and true crime just calms me down. It's super weird but I guess I know those things will never happen to me so it kind of calms down my paranoia.

Oh i see!! Kind of like reverse psychology in a way? I suffer from bad paranoia and delusions as well—i had a small period of time where i believed people were stalking me but it luckily died down since we’re quarantined now! But i still get auditory hallucinations so sometimes i hear voices and stuff that makes me incredibly paranoid. I can see how that’d work for you!! Although personally in my experience it only makes mine worse but i really wish mine worked the way yours does ;-;

No, it;s okay I'm horrible with quote formats too.
I need to have all the lights on at home or else I'll start having hallucination like seeing people who aren't there, that sort of thing but mostly it's auditory hallucinations - I can't shower at night because I'll have breakdowns thinking someone is going to kidnap me while I'm showering. It's gotten to the point where I try b*shing my sk*ll in to make it stop.
Quarantine made mine so much worse haha, it got to the point where I had to quit my job and I can't get out of the house because i'm too anxious and paranoid.
