thinking about it, i will say its been 6 years since i read wandering son (i was in high school) so i cant speak for any trigger warnings or anything like that! there should be some articles and such out there about it if you'd like to do further reading!

I would also really recommend Tuca and Bertie. Tuca is openly bi and the show handles some heavy topics such as truama, abuse, alcoholism, needing/getting therapy etc. Don't let the colourful visuals and very wacky antics put you off.

"call me by your name" holds a special place in my heart. when it was released it was the first lgbt+ media that made me realize i didn't really have much interest in hetero relationships anymore. really beautiful movie.

I love Tuca and Bertie but just a warning that towards the end of season 1 a character opens up about being sexually assaulted as a child. The episode in general confronts child sexual abuse so be careful if that sort of thing is triggering.

I think in general if you're concerned about any media we reccomend having triggering content a good source to use is doesthedogdie.com 

Only problem is it sometimes has spoilers but it's a good resource for various potentially triggering content in media so you're not thrown into something without a warning if you need one. 

Which we need to normalize specific content warnings anyways. The new Umbrella Academy season had an incestous sexual assault scene in it and multiple people I know said it made them anxious/have flashbacks/etc.

totally forgot about that website, excellent add on!

i have been thinking about it and im also gonna say that anyone up for it and interested in anime might want to watch Given! TW for suicide and also later in the series theres a very brief sex flashback (2 high schoolers). all 4 of the main characters are lgbt and a handful of the side characters are as well :) very lgbt centered and focused! a tough watch emotionally but thats exactly why i liked it so much lol

What is a Ximbo senator?
A Ximbo senator is a senior member of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland. Only xenators are eligible to put themselves forward for election to senior government roles. Ximbos also get 10 x votes in all elections so they really do shape Ximbolands future.

What is a Ximbo minister?
A Ximbo minister is an elected or appointed official in the Ximboland government. These Ximbos are our leaders.

Who is the Prime Ximbo?
The Prime Ximbo is the democratically elected head of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland.

Where does the Prime Ximbo live?
The Prime Ximbo lives in the Pink House for the 3 month term they are in office.

I want to become a minister or Prime Ximbo. How do I do that?
Any Ximbo citizen can become Prime Ximbo using the democratic process. Its a 2 stage process from Senator>Prime Ximbo. All Ximbo xitizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo/a minister they must first become a Ximbo senator.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 6 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland holds elections every 3 months for Prime Ximbo and every 3 months for State Ministers.

Where do important discussions take place?
The Town Square.

What is the treasury/ministers/Prime Ximbos salary?
The treasury/salary is the bank account of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 3 month term in charge.

How is the treasury calculated?
The treasury is funded by the Ximbo xenators.
A percentage (33%) of the money paid by Ximbo xenators via Paypal is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is used for further Ximboland development.
