Bimbos/Himbos voting for those with less creative and/or overall good looks in fights. Whether it's because of cordiality or whatever should not be mentioned. Nothing should ever be expected. I love you all and have noticed that several times recently, practically everyday. This does not occur with debates and I hope we all can agree to that and keep it that way. I hope this sheds light on a topic many of us may be thinking about but are simply not bringing up.
Favoritism
Well, there are plenty of reasons, why you could vote for a style, which appears less stylish or creative then another one. It may be, that you like one of the "fighters", it may be, that one does not match the topic at all, it may, that you prefer in general less or more vulgarity... It may be even, that you dislike one of the "Fighters". Even this is a "good" reason, somehow. In RL you would also vote for your friend, not your "enemy". Nevertheless, one point is style, appearance. It's taste. To agree or disagree to an opinion, just out of reasons, which are maybe even counterpart of the own conviction...this is another story, instead. Would ruin the sense of debates, at all.

I am almost always voting in a way to keep the fight active for longer so more people can get their daily number of fight/debate votes. Fights and debates close after one peraon reaches 5 votes, so if one look has 4 votes and the other has zero, I am going to vote for the outfit with zero votes so the next person who needs to vote on a fight has the chance either to do what I did and use their vote pro-socially, or close that fight. I do the same thing with debates unless the person with less votes is saying something really awful--there's a BUNCH of folks who say all humans should be killed on the environment question, which is fascist and racist, and there's some people who make fatphobic comments in debate answers or are insulting in a way that is also shitty rather than funny, so I am either skipping those or voting against them. I think a lot of people play like this because there's not that many active players.

8) Players who vote for the one who is much lower level than another one (no matter of who is on the left and right)
9) Players who vote for the specific aesthetics and style, often it could be very niche oriented
There could be more but these were on the top of my mind atm.
My voting pattern is probably a mix of the few from above. I usually tend to vote for the outfit I like more, but often I like both outfits equally and then I regularly give an advance to the challenger unless the votes seem very out of balance in a favor of challenger and then I would give my vote to the one on the right.
If there are multiple fights between players whose outfits I like equally, I vote crisscross so that both receive some votes.
When bimbos challenge himbos, I often vote for himbo on the right simply because they have way more struggles to come up with good outfits due to limited choice in their shop. If it is a himbo who challenged bimbo, well, then I vote for the one I like more since it was a himbo's choice to start fight with a bimbo knowing bimbos have more clothing options.
But then there are sometimes some small details that can decide where my vote goes. For example, one fighter has a good outfit but maybe I don't like their make up, how they paired colors and similar and then my vote may go to another one whose outfit is maybe simpler but overall has a better composition imo. On the other hand there are outfits that have all nice clothing, make up, wig, accessories, etc. but still look average or don't tell me a story so then I might vote for another one which seems maybe less pretty but more original, because let's be real, with all good items outfit is probably going to be pretty for the eye but at the same time very regular and without a depth. Outfit with the most beautiful dress from shop won't win my vote either if it doesn't fit the category at least marginally and doesn't tell me a story. Outfit that is maybe very original but doesn't make sense to me, doesn't fit the category or aesthetically isn't appealing to me also won't get my vote no matter how original it may be.
I am guilty of judging make up, there are some make up options that really aren't my thing and no matter of the rest of the outfit that might be the deciding factor.
What I like to see in outfits: good and interesting layering whether it's clothes, make up, hairstyle options, backgrounds, etc.; versatile looks and styles among categories; outfits that make sense and tell a story - they usually match the category well; outfits that are original - could be weird, creepy or whatever, but at the same time aesthetically appealing to me and make sense in given context.

What LillyAnn said about voting patterns is about right for me: I usually vote for the challenger, unless they are at 4 already with no votes to the challenged, so I vote to the right to allow somebody else to vote.
If the outfit of the challenger really doesn't go with the theme, then I'm inclined to vote to the right or skip.
If it's a 4 and 4, and they are both actually on theme, then I vote based on my personal taste.
Agree on all this! When I have time to really play in depth I like to look through and pick the one I like better or if the fight list is especially short I'll vote for the one with less votes so more people have a chance to get their votes in. If I'm trying to get my votes in fast I'll vote for who challenged. I am biased towards pink/pastels, gorey, funny/vulgar looks, and of course my friends since I asked them to play with me and I want them to have a good time too!
i think its so hard to vote becauase there is this pressure to vote for popular players or people with more going on in their outfits but i think the best way to vote is just whichever one you personally like better. thats what people are asking for at the end of the day, do you like their look? not do you like their stats. so i stick to that when im voting.
I usually just vote for whoever has the least amount of votes, unless it's a "Vote for the other person" debate/fight or one person has a really good look. If it's even I'll vote for who I like more.
I also usually vote for my friends, the challenger, or whoever has the most creative/ better look, usually I like good makeup and backgrounds, and if people stay on topic. I'm also biased against the babies and boyfriend looks, I just think they look tacky.
