I know, I was shocked sam, brienne, pod and jamie all held up that long. I plan on watching it again soon xD
Game of Thrones
The producers have definitely armed the main cast with tons of plot armor ever since they ran out of material from the actual books. I mean really the most horrific and shocking deaths plus most intense villains are from GRRM's writing. Once they ran out of book material (season 4ish/5ish) almost all the events have ended pretty expectantly. Most people live or die according to expectation and/or plot...
Not at all saying I hate the show by any means.. so far it is still my favorite TV show of all times... it is just that without actual story telling from GRRM the shocks, highs and lows are just not as good as before. I really can't think of one scene in the last seasons that actually made me cry except the Hodor scene.. and clearly that was planned by GRRM since it is basically the whole characters arc to "Hold the door"

I'll admit I haven't read the books (they're on my list for sure) so I'm missing that side of understanding. I didn't realise any of that actually!
Lol... I hadn't even known there were books until the end of the 2nd season... and when I found out I bought and read them all before the start of the 3rd season because I NEEDED more!
I have been waiting increasingly impatiently for the release of book 6... and have tried to brace myself with the fact that I may never ever see book 7... idk.. GRRM has so much else going on now but I really hope he gets the releases because I feel like we are definitely missing out on quite a lot from the series (even with as good as it has been the books are way better imo)

Episode 3 ruined GoT for me. It airs 2am my time and I was disappointed to have stayed up just to watch the night king defeated so easily. I'm honestly confused as to why the war didn't last long and what they would show in the remaining 3 episodes.
Also, quick question. Do you think Bronn would kill/attempt to kill Jaime and Tyrion ?

But he already has saved Jaime once with the danger of being burned alive and he really likes Tyrion, so he might not go through with it when he sees them.

About Bronn... so.. I read an article prior to season 8 starting where the actor that played Bronn remarked that he hoped the audience/fans still loved Bronn after this season aired and "reminded" everyone that Bronn is Bronn and he has always been honest about the fact that he wants his castle and wife. BUT.. I think now that comment would be way too obvious @ Bronn's storyline since they have indicated he has been tasked with killing Jamie & Tyrion. I would like to think now that he made that comment to make everyone believe he might do it and that he really doesn't.... HOWEVER.. after the botch of the NK story and the evidence of the terrible story writing idk.. maybe they are just that obvious now.
