Who in the fresh hell suddenly decided that tomboy is an offensive term now? Chronically online LGBT+ gen Z TikTokkers? Like it's fine if you don't want to be called a tomboy personally but that doesn't mean the term is actually offensive, it's not an insult or meant to actually mean something negative, I always describe myself as a tomboy and I have never encountered anyone (up until you) who said it's offensive, and that is saying something considering I'm a chronically online queer myself

I only said this because I didn't want the people who actually think tomboy is offensive to get on my ass. I have said boyish because the last time I said tomboy, I got fuckin cancelled and on top of that the person started being transphobic towards me. So don't jump on my ass for being a bit irked and afraid to say tomboy for fear of some psycho saying it's offensive. I was told it was offensive so I just used boyish. I'm not trying to get clout or start shit. But to be honest girly vs tomboy is silly. Both styles are fine in my eyes. A guy can be in a dress while a girl can be in a suit. I'm literally a trans guy. So please calm down.

Literally can not imagine any sane person canceling someone over the word tomboy I'm sorry you had that happen but this also kinda proves my point about chronically online LGBT+ gen z kids missing the point of what queer activism actually is about because so far it's only been fresh new LGBT+ youth who's been getting on everyone's asses about harmless non-offensive terms being offensive from what I've seen, it's fucking insane and I'm begging those kids to PLEASE talk to some older irl LGBT+ people outside of the internet so they don't create a dumb echo chamber about things they deem to be acceptable or unacceptable, if they told anyone outside of the internet that tomboy is an offensive and harmful term they'd get laughed at
i was a tomboy pretty much my whole life up until the end of high school and now i definitely hate wearing things that make me look masculine. some stuff makes me uncomfortable (like bright pastels and cute things, even though i like them i always feel like i look like a dork wearing them) but for the most part im always wearing something feminine

I used to be a tom boy now I'm a girly girl, I love skirts and dresses and the like but I also have some form of mess on my hands at all times, usually, paint but often dirt from gardening or here and there grease from learning how to fix my car up with my dad. :3 <3
Ehh, I default to tomboy (I've been in the middle of a gender crisis for.... months.) but on random occasions absolutely go nuts for a full fem look.
