There was a contest where there were state winners very recently and while it was fun, I don't think it should be done again. The states are very unequally distributed so it isn't really fair to users in bigger states with more competition.

That's not the only issue. After the whole issue with the elections and the Miss Bimbo nonsense, many people cancelled their subscriptions or quit the game entirely, including some SMs, so while this idea was possitively recieved by SMs, it has been kinda pushed asside until everything else gets figured out. I love the idea of this pageant, and really hope it actually comes to life, but unfortunately we will have to wait until who knows when (or even if) all that nonsense reaches a conclusion and the problems are solved!! So don't expect this pageant to happen any time soon...
Basically if you're in a smaller state, you have less competition, so it's easier for you to win there, represent your state and have a chance to win the pageant. The chances of winning after you're picked to represent are the same, but before that it also depends on how many people you're competing against. Bigger state, more competition, less chances.

Are you saying that because California has the most people the winner of the Miss California contest has less of a chance to win it, than the winner of say Miss Road Island does?

I am confused. How is it not fair the the bigger states?For the recent Derby contest, the hosts made banners with all the team members on it for the participation banners and you can really see the scale on the banners.
