The Holocaust most likely. I don't think that we, as a human race, have learned from that mistake and too many innocent people were tortured and murdered and many families were torn apart and butchered - it was horrific. Although there were many out there that did try to help, the death toll was far too great and there was immense suffering.

I've been in love with her for Years, but only remained friends. The timing has never worked out for us, for anything else. Married,and such. It just couldn't be acted upon at the time. It's all well however. A shared agreement to not become romantically involved.
