I think the only PE I found cool was the one from the private school I went to for high school with a scholarship (the high schoolers mentioned above were from the school I did middle school at) because the students could choose the sports. In fact, sometimes you'd see the girls practising roller skatingROLLER SKATING. How cool is that?

When we got older our PE got split to girls' PE and boys' PE, as one might have expected. We had them at separate locations and to be honest we got to just... do what we wanted mostly. We went to try out a lot of shit, like floor hockey (no idea what that's in English but it's just hockey played indoors on your shoes and with a plastic ball) basketball, soccer, we did yoga once or twice, that was fun, we also went to take a dancing class. At some point I just started skipping gym because I was friends with one girl from my class and I did not get along with the rest of them. It made me feel shitty in the same way dancing had started to feel shitty before I quit.

For some reason when you're a hormone bomb of a teenager trying to do physical activities among a group of your peers you're not friendly with is an uncomfortable experience. The amount of team sports we did might have affected that too. Swimming was rare and unexpectedly nice, mostly because you don't need other people to swim and people are too busy trying not to drown to bother staring at you or to try to socialize.
My school had a few dancing classes for the High School girls. Thing is, it was... generally in bad taste. Skimpy clothing, sexualized dance routines, the whole thing. You could often see the discomfort on their faces during the final presentations of their training
What even? That's awful. We just went to a dance studio. I'm 70% sure we took a zumba class, because that's sporty and easy for a one time thing

one time all the teachers called me (at the time, a 11~12 yo child) into a meeting bc i said history is more important than religion as a school subject (they only focused on catholicism and it was pretty much brainwashing) and all of them keep trying to tell me how wrong i was and how god saves people
and people ask why i have such a bad relationship with religion
Were you raised in a Catholic school?
half of my life, yeah... but i changed schools when i entered high school to one who wasn't that bad (didn't force me into religion)
Oh oof yeah, Catholic schools are pretty known for this kind of bullshit. Depending on the time you studied religion classes were also mandatory (brother's 10 years my senior, had religion classes for the first year of high school before it was removed from the curriculum and it was... basically "homophobia and religious intolerance 101")

but seriously it pisses me off, i always hated churches, i can't stand still just hearing one person talk about something i don't even agree or understand, yet i spent 3 years on a school that forced it's students to watch it once and a while. my friend was allowed to not participate bc she was evangelic and they respected that, yet they 'grounded' me bc i simply DID NOT WANT TO. they sent me to a room w/ a bunch of other kids who also didn't want to go to church and made us wait while they called our parents lol

They probably only let her go free from it because she was still Christian.
God forbid you were from a different religion at a school like that.

I say let people be who they want to be. If you don't like it who cares does it affect your life if 2 people of the same gender are happy being with each other. If god is real and you do go to heaven I doubt god will send you to hell because gay people can marry now or something. I have always thought if 2 people of the same gender want to be together let them it doesn't bother me because I don't care. I mean I do care but you know what I mean... I hope.

I can appreciate the honesty of a classic catholic school, at least. At least they don't bother disguising theor opinions and preferences. Makes easier to avoid them

If gay people go against God then why do we keep winning and are Their favourites

If God wasn't for the gays he wouldn't have given us the rainbow. Everyone knows the rainbow is ours,,

If God hates gays then why did he make Steve so hot and gentle? Hm? What was Adam supposed to do???? Not fall in love with this wholesome sweet man? Did God not tell for us to love our fellow man?
