I just don't like the destruction going on in America at the moment I mean you can be angry at what is going on what what is rioting and looting and destroying everything going to do? Is it going to make things better?

What I am going to say about politics is especially American politics is I have seen both sides and looked at both parties democrat and republican and I have seen the good and bad in both parties and I don't know who I like more. I am more in the middle. People might hate me for saying this but that's how I feel. I know most here I believe would be more democratic than republican but myself I am questioning in what I like more. I feel like if I sided on the republican side more most people would not like me anymore. That's why I don't like to talk about politics much.
Well, I'm just gonna point out that when I say I would be a democrat in a relationship I'm saying I'd be asinine about communication and finding middle ground solutions to problems because that's how I already am in my platonic relationships. It's not political to value and strive for healthy communication. I have no idea what american democrats or republicans do or stand for beyond how they all seem pretty universally like racist bigots, so uh. Good on you for having enough of an idea about that to have an actual opinion on them.

I mean I look at democrats and republicans in America and I feel like I side with republicans more than democrats, not saying I don't like democrats or I hate democrats or I don't believe in democratic policies I just feel I agree with more republican policies and stuff. Sorry if anyone disagrees with me or hates me because of it but that's how I feel.
I think anyone who bases their personality around politics enough to use their political party or a politician they support as a descriptor about themselves should maybe evaluate... that. It's just a little weird to be that loyal and faithful to a political party or a politician, both things likely to change drastically in relatively short periods of time. This is not to say you are doing this, but in US politics there is this really strong "which one are you" mentality that is too simplistic to be effective.
Because really people within these groups have a lot of variety in their opinions among themselves. You can't really be a democrat or a republican. Neither of those are intricate enough words to truly encompass the full extent of all of your personal political beliefs. People should talk more about what they want and believe and less about what they are and what others are, basically.

Like I say I am not American so I only go by what I see online. But if I was a politician I would probably be 3rd party myself. Just have all the policies from the 2 major parties I like and have them as my policies.
