I know what you mean, though. It's tough, when the pain isn't yours to process, and yet you feel it with them. I hope she finds peace and can remember and focus on the good. I'm of the same mind, I really prefer celebrations of life as an approach to death, over typical funerals. Not that grieving doesn't have it's place or value, but western culture often tries to ignore death or treats it like a taboo, and I think that ironically impairs our emotional processing. I love the mental image of you haunting someone and going "hey you, what are you doing all mopey!! Go to a party or something in my honour!" XD
