Someone not wanting to date someone else exclusively because they are trans is definitely insecurity. If you find everything about them attractive until you find out that they’re trans, you are denying a part of yourself that wants to be with that person, which is insecurity.

I pitty the fool that would put ego, stigmas, and fear before love. I doubt you'd want to date someone that can't be open minded anyways. It's possible they're more afraid of how they'd be perceived by family and friends by dating someone trans, but other people can shove their opinions honestly. Be true to yourself and you'll figure out all too quickly who the realest people are

i can only speak for myself in that regard (haven't looked into other trans women's blood results) but my estrogen levels are higher than the average cis woman.
so in all seriousness what biological aspect of a woman can someone actually be attracted to at that point? i'm not gonna say they're transphobic because they don't wanna date trans women or anything like that but it just all sounds really really silly and like bad excuses when you think about it (at least to me but again my view is obviously slighty biased).

I’d assume it’s because they do not consider trans women to be biological women, which is genetically true though socially most would consider them to be women. Since they are probably attracted to biological women, it stands that they would likely not be interested in a trans woman. Also, some of them just dislike the idea of being with someone who was once their own sex.(sorry for the bad formating, it looked better before it was saved </3)
