Given the recent attempt to completely remove democratically elected governments from the game, as well as continous lack of communication and accountability for Miss Bimbo, I think it's high time we present a list of demands to our government upon which our membership hinges. This thread is an attempt to organize all ideas from Constitutional crisis into one document.
List of Demands
What MUST happen to keep you in BimboLand? Please vote by commenting with the policy numbers below that you appreciate as well as any other ideas that you have.
1) Elections must not be based on city population.
2) Subscription requirement for office must be removed.
3) Atheista's recent bonus must be matched for players in all cities.
4) Consistent, clear, and publicly documented communication between Miss Bimbo, Prime Bimbo, Prime Ministers, and Senators must be maintained. Office holders who are inactive for a pre-determined amount of time must revoke their positions.
5) State Ministers must receive an election bonus to encourage participation.
6) State Ministers must run on the platforms they present in debates.
7) State Ministers platforms must be promoted in forums post-election.
8) State Ministers must have a clear communication and accountability process for relaying ideas to Miss Bimbo.
9) Elections must last longer than one day to improve participation. (One week has been suggested.)

I would like to expand this idea to include accountability of actually implementing changes. Miss and/or Prime Bimbo must coordinate and commit to a calendar of changes and explain delays to satisfaction, else risk removal or non re-election.
For me, the priority should be undoing this decision, issuing a public apology and committing to greater communication in the future. There are things on this list that could improve user engagement (some of the ideas are mine!) but I'd be happy as long as there is accountability for the terrible mistake that was made. I'd also like to add that as a long time non-paying player, it doesn't bother me that only paying players are eligible to run for State Minister. This doesn't strike me as unreasonable -- the game has to make money somehow. It IS ridiculous that the State Minister role has virtually no privileges or responsibilities outside of getting to run for PB. Is it any wonder there's such low interest in running? So, if we're talking about ways to making the voting system better outside of un-doing the update, giving State Ministers special bonuses and making the elections longer would be the first things I'd do.

I'd also like to add that as a long time non-paying player, it doesn't bother me that only paying players are eligible to run for State Minister. This doesn't strike me as unreasonable -- the game has to make money somehow.I'm relatively new but also a non-playing player. I agree that the game has to make money somehow, but it seems to me that running for office isn't the deciding factor when someone is choosing whether or not to subscribe. The other perks seem worth the cost, and it's apparent that the peolpe who are paying to play aren't doing so for office eligibility. I don't think removing the requirement would drastically effect their revenue, and it would likely increase government participation.

Occupy Bimboland's, was the same gang mentality, that ruined Miss Bimbo. Think about that. Do you really want Bimboland's to be destroyed too?
I know the owner/ Miss Bimbo/Chris very well, and all of you are not doing yourselves any justice right now. In fact, your demanding thing's, that are totally counter-productive to Bimboland's.
Chris must be laughing at you all now, for the simple reason, he SHOOK up the ant-farm.
I tried to ignore the issue, because I know how his mind work's.

I've been following the topic and intimately know the player's concerns, because I've had this conversation year's ago with the owner, while making Bimboland's. This is not a new subject for us. I was chosen to represent the Player's, By the owner, before any election's were ever held. Why?
Because I approach problem's without 'personal' emotional reaction's. I was originally hired to be the voice of the Bimbo's, and believe it or not there is no term limit, for earning the respect of the person who controls the FATE, of Bimboland's. On the face of it, I went through the process to be elected too. However, sometimes 'lurking behind the curtain' is true political power.
The more everyone speaks out, the better I can communicate to the OWNER.
