So Miss bimbo was shut down not sold ?
I was always thinking that this Miss bimbo was sold and just changed name to https://www.likeafashionista.com/
because both games looked this same at the start. Then they both gone in different directions.
Can someone tell me what truly happened then ?

Lemme see if I can simplify, since it was a longish story:

Brief History

Miss Bimbo was originally Ma Bimbo's English counterpart, but they ended up parting ways financially due to what amounted as creative differences. Ma Bimbo would later go on to create Like a Fashionista, which is the true English version to that french game.

Anyway, Miss Bimbo started off with a relatively small following but experienced a huge growth spurt due to some controversial press it received world wide thanks to some of its content, including the diet pills(which were later removed), the face lifts, and the breast enhancement surgery. It was actually a bit like the numbers boom we got here because of the tumblr posts, but MUCH larger scale.

Everything went really well, Chris made a few business moves that users objected over, the first being VIB memberships(basically like senatorships, but you got perks like special VIB only clothing, a private section of the forum, and the ability to dress up your boyfriend and your baby) but I don't recall that one being as big of a deal as the "bodyguard fiasco".

The bodyguard thing was essentially Chris's attempt to get people to spend more real money on the game, and it went over badly. The bodyguard would remove bimbo dollars daily as a fee for his protection services without giving anything in return. You could not dismiss this character, and the amount of money he would take from you increased as you levelled up, and if you didn't have a job or a boyfriend, he would ultimately take more money than you could earn in a day and deplete your bimbo savings into the negatives. Occupy Bimboland(an offsite forum) was actually created in response to this site update, because so many users were upset and protesting, but still wanted a place to talk to their friends. Eventually, after much protesting, the bodyguard stopped taking our money, but remained a silent reminder of poor choice.

The big bad beavers

As part of a shitty plot Chris invited that pitted Russian goths against British preps(black vs. pink) Chris introduced this disgusting amount of pubic hair to the doll base that was NOT removable. Think of a hideously ungroomed bush that extended to the thighs and up the belly and you have the beaver. Due to the fact that you could see it clearly in certain outfits and that it was hideous and non-removable, there was even MORE complaining, but instead of taking the blame and removing the bad choice, Chris initially doubled down on his decision and essentially blamed "Russian Hackers".

The actual hacking

As the months went on, the site gradually deteriorated as more and more people left. Chris was growing more and more frustrated, and instead of logging off and doing something constructive, or fixing the site problems, he basically would get on and use the forums as a way to insult his users over and over again, driving even more of them offsite. He also began his vendetta against any and all associated with Occupy Bimboland. Eventually his immature behavior pissed off the wrong person, a purported spouse of a disgruntled user, who hacked the site, gave everyone free VIB and lots of bimbo dollars, and posted porn all over the place. This hacker initially blamed HLB, but soon after changed the blame over to Neriah, who was Miss Bimbo(essentially PB position) at the time.

When Chris saw what became of his site, he obviously had a total meltdown, banned a bunch of people including all previous mods, Neriah's entire staff, and ANY user who put up a fight against his decisions.

The porn site

Because the faulty code was in the forums, Chris had to scramble to create a new forum for the site, and get rid of the old one. During this time, or shortly before, he'd decided that Miss Bimbo was going to be an "adults only" site. Paypal would no longer do business with the site so that cut off all funding, but he wouldn't back down, and the decision to ban all younger users and encourage sexually explicit content drove pretty much everyone offsite. The sites numbers dwindled down to nothing and it was eventually shuttered.
